Relaxing and pleasing
The property is as listed. It has all the amenities for a comfortable long stay. It was clean and Sylvie (the concierge) was helpful when we needed her. It is a very peaceful and secure place, we were all very please with the house. The only drawbacks are the beds, specifically the matresses, which could be better. The bunker bed is flimsy, only suitable for children, the bed base consists of widely separated rectangular tubes and the mattress were thin foam mats, therefore they are uncomfortable for adults. Sylvie also runs a restaurant located inside the community, named Kokomo, it was the only place open every day. There is another restaurant that opens only on friday and saturday. Both the beach and the pool (we used it once in a week, my children prefer playing at the beach) are at 500 meters approximately from the house, so you can go by walking (they are in different directions, the distance betwen them is about 800 meters). A car is definitely needed if you want to visit Manta (one hour by car) or Puerto López (45 minutes by car). There is a bus stop outside the community, but the public transport is scarce and the house is located about 1 km from the bus stop. I would definitely recommend staying in Casa Lila, if you can get a car (we had ours).
