"peaceful retreat"

"I would not recommend this hotel for Americans. There were a lot of rules and restrictions. We thought we would enjoy the very nice looking pool but you had to wear a bathing cap and it closed at 7 pm ! The hotel was geared towards families with young children. While the room was clean, it smelled very strongly of disinfectant. We had to make our own beds with linens they provided. The area is wonderful with the beach so close but I would not recommend this accommodation. "

"Our room was very big and comfortable! The hotel is at walking distance from the Marina di Cecina beach and from the bars/restaurants along the sea. The parking was included and was so handy, it's not easy to find parking in the area. The personnel was very kind and attentive, it's been a relaxing stay! There was a good choice for breakfast with average quality. There's a swimming pool with sunbed but we didn't go as we preferred the sea, but it's a good alternative for small kids."

"It was a wonderful drive to the hotel, but outside of the swimming pool, we were disappointed. The internet was down, the showers barely dripped any water, let alone hot water, and the meals were the worst we experienced in all of Italy."

"We enjoyed the hotel spaciousness and loved the little village, it was also close to the little seaside town of follonia which was fun . Had a great seafood meal there . In the little village bought hand made cutting board made from local olive wood. My complaints were the wifi did not work in the rooms and the bed was way to hard for my comfort as were the pillows"
