"What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time. "It's never fun to arrive at a place and see that it's for sale, but it is what it is. The couple running the place were welcoming and I wish them all the best in finding someone to run this old inn that has a lot of history, a building part of the Montebello town, and has soo much potential for growth."

"Louise was a lovely hostess and very helpful. I went in the winter time so you have to be prepared for lots of snow and have winter tires. It is quite a rustic spot and very peaceful. I stayed there as I was doing the Canadian ski marathon. It was a lovely place to come back to after a long day skiing. "
