"My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped. The only challenge was for my friend who has a bad knee, so the entry stairs were hard for her. But would be fine for most people! I would stay...

"Adelina was the most gracious and friendly host! Supplying us with incredible fruit and eggs from her gardens and chickens. The house had spectacular views of Sao Jorge and had tons of room for a family of 6. It also had a well appointed kitchen. Loved the location. A great stay. "

"We traveled with a large group and this was the only home that could accommodate all 7 of us. The owners reside in an adjacent home on the property. They were there if we needed anything but did not intrude. We had access to a washing machine, and the home has a bathtub which several of us enjoyed. The views from the property are incredible and you have a large outdoor area with a picnic table and BBQ. Definitely a rustic home with lots of old world features. It was challenging to cool down but...

"We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals."

"Nice large rental property in rural Prainha de Cima. Host was very nice and accommodating. Clean apartment with everything you need for comfortable stay. Day trips are easy to Horta or Velas on the ferries. Recommended. Great value."
