"We stayed one night but wished we had spent more time in Evora. The hotel is new and was very clean and quiet. They offered free on-site parking for our rental car, which was a big bonus. The location is within a short walk to the old town of Evora, and it was not as hilly as Lisbon and Porto, which made it a nice place to stroll around. There were good restaurants nearby and we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. One note to make regarding the newer hotels we stayed at in Portugal: The toilet and shower stalls are within the hotel room and it tends to take away some privacy. I understand this is the modern trend but just wanted to make potential guests aware of this set-up. In all, this was the least expensive of the 6 hotels we stayed at in different cities in Portugal. Would highly recommend it. The staff was pleasant. No complaints."

"This is a modern hotel just within the walls of the old city, within 10 minutes walk of all the major sights and the Praca do Giraldo in the old town center. Free underground parking is included - avoid driving into the old city. Very good breakfast, comfortable rooms"

"A delightful boutique hotel. Exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated. the cherry on the cake was the extreme support from Gonzalo on the front desk who could not have been more accommodating and supportive. Every hotel needs a hundred Gonzalos to care for guests in the manner inn which he took care of us. Nothing was too much trouble. He made the stay even more special."

"Nice no nonsense clean hotel. Nice bathrooms, shower, towels, comfy bed. All in a fabulous close easy walking to the walled city. 10 mins max. Didn't use the breakast option as tthere are lots of reasonable cafes for tea/coffee, ham, cheese & toast for breakfast"

"It was a beautiful hotel in a restored very old building. Our room had a fabulous view over the long flatlands looking east (Évora is on a hilltop). Couldn’t be more conveniently located near the cathedral and Roman Temple of Diana."

"Excellent but small mistake dud happen.. Our room key given to another guest when we were in the room. Front desk acknowledge error and took responsibility for gravity of situation. Apologized abd offered complimentary breakfast! Despite embarrassing error, the i would return because they realized the error and took responsibility. "

"The common areas of the hotel are stunning! The wait staff in the bar and restaurant were wonderful! They must take comedy lessons and 2 are look alikes for Will Smith and Jack Black . They were so fun and enhanced our incredible dining experience. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were lovely . We had a balcony overlooking the grounds, which I imagine are gorgeous come spring and summer . It’s a quick ride into town, Park at the aqueduct parking lot for free and it’s an easy walk into the historic center . Stay here !!"
