"Air conditioning was set to 19C and even if you reduced the temperature, it would reset back to 19C a few seconds later. There was a sign next to it saying it will set back to 19C if the room is not occupied to be eco-friendly. However, the duvet was thick and too warm. "While a little "worn around the edges", this hotel is very pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed comfort is very good. We discovered a good bistro down the road - the midi-minuit - which actually closes at 10:30 (bizarre given the name). Looked at Georges bistro but was overcrowded and too noisy. If you arrive late, parking is free in the street. "

"This Mercury was very good quality for the price of the room . Traveling with a tween can be challenging to find accommodation but the rooms with double beds were spacious and well equipped. The hotel is only a 15 minutes walk from the commercial heart of the city and to a lot of dining options. "

"A fabulous little hotel in a fantastic location right in the heart of Lyon’s shopping and restaurants and close to the old town. The location couldn’t have been better. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when returning to Lyon."
