"Simply the most relaxing situation one could imagine. Just a perfect blend of nature, farm edges (e.g. not a resort) but unreal food/wine. "Great Staff, good continental breakfast options. Property is associated w/ a good small winery. Location is down a gravel farm road for about 1/3 of a mile from the local paved road. It's not a big deal, just be aware. There is ample parking in a gravel lot. Lots of good outdoor covered space but unfortunately during our 3 day stay, it was rainy. the view across the valley is San Gimignano. We found it a good base for driving the Tuscany region. "We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm, accommodating and responsive. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany....
