"Perfect place to stay, clean, beautiful view and the owner and son are very kind people and saved my stay because I had made a reservation at another place called LA SERENATTA in Diamond and after making the reservation and flying 9 hours and driving 3 Hours arriving at night after 8 the place was closed and with no one waiting for us leaving us alone in the middle of the boche yblas diamond mountains. "A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted."

"Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."
