Camping Siena Colleverde

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (148)
"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception...

Badiaccia Camping Village

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (9)
"Very clean, nice location, efficient and courteous staff. Unfortunately, out of the many daily activities advertised on the website, almost none took place, and the mini club was basically just sitting the children down and make them colour/paint. The swimming pool was always very very busy, and because of the heat, the lake level was very low, it was not very inviting, and no canoe or kayaks were available for hire. The internal mini-market is very expensive. All in all it's a nice place, maybe...

4.0 star property

"Nice camping site with very good facilities. This is a mobile home, so everything is small but in good conditions. Staff is friendly but the major problem was that they want you to pay extra all the bed sheets and towels. With a family of 5 this ended up to 120 euros (!) I politely refused stating that there was no mention of this on the site and after a while they agreed that don't give any ground,"

"Supermooie tent. Terrein is klein en fijn, heel mooi aangelegd en het was avontuurlijk door de everzwijnen die appeltjes kwamen eten naast de tent!"

The Gelda house, relax with a view

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (12)
"This is a beautiful apartment on the edge of a small town called Castelnuovo dell’Abate. It's not in Montalcino, but a short drive to it. We stayed here because we were visiting a few wineries close by. When staying in a small Tuscan town, it's best to look for a place like this that's right on the edge. You don't want to (and sometimes can't!) drive into the old part of the towns. We were able to park along the street about 100 yards away. The walk was steeply uphill, but not long at all. The...

Villa in Montalcino, exclusive for you, stunning view!!!

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (78)
"We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! It was just wonderful, and Luigi was a fantastic host! The views from every part of the villa are amazing! It was so fun to see all of the sheep each morning and watch the sunset in the evenings. We were fortunate enough to be in town for the olive festival in Montisi, the quaint little village just a few miles away. We had a blast! The recommended chef who cooked for us at the villa, Giancarlo from the Tuscan Chef, was incredible! What a fantastic...
