Located inside the medieval walls of Montalcino, this apartment offers ultimate convenience. You are able to walk to the bakery, the grocery store or one of Montalcino's wonderful restaurants to enjoy a delicious meal with some great wine. Private parking is a 2 minute walk for easy access. The apartment was totally renovated in March of 2016 with a beautiful new kitchen including all new appliances, dinnerware and cooking utensils (including sharp knives!); a separate dining area with new table and chairs for 4 people: a refined living room with a queen size sofa bed and two comfortable chairs sitting on a lovely Oriental rug, plus warm old world cabinetry that houses the Television and provides plenty of storage space. The bedroom has a full size wardrobe for all of your clothing items and a new queen size bed with a premium mattress. The spacious bathroom includes a clothes washer/dryer for your convenience.
Interaction with Guests
Our local House Manager speaks both Italian and English and will meet you upon arrival with keys, and a parking pass for your car. He will then take you through the apartment explaining how everything works, where everything is located and answer any questions you may have. The House Manager will also be available to you during your stay to make recommendations, give directions, or provide any other concierge type services.

Our location within Montalcino is perfect for a visit to any of the local wineries to taste the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine. Enjoy some great Tuscan food and wine in the town's many restaurants. Walk through the charming medieval hilltop town and visit its many shops selling local products such as wine, meats, produce, honey and other artisan products. Be sure to try locally made ice cream from the gelaterias. Enjoy the wonderful views of the famous south Tuscan countryside from the 16th century fortress and step inside a local museum or church for some traditional culture. Or just have a coffee or glass of wine in Piazza del Popolo to watch life pass by.
Around the Local Tuscan Area
Our location within Tuscany is perfect to explore the famous spas in the neighboring town of Bagno Vignoni or to go for a hike or bike ride through the famously beautiful Val d'Orcia. Try out the beach and seafood opportunities in Castiglione della Pescaia which is only an hour away. Visit the famous 9th century Sant' Antimo abbey (15 minutes away) or explore charming Renaissance towns like Montepulciano (45 minutes away) and Pienza (30 minutes away). The latter also doubles as the center for Tuscany's pecorino cheese production. There are excellent shopping opportunities at the Val di Chiana outlet village (45 minutes away) or The Mall, perhaps Italy's best designer outlet village (90 minutes away). And there's always Siena - just a short distance to the North, the best preserved medieval city in Tuscany and with a great atmosphere. Other Tuscan gems like Chianti, San Gimignano, and Florence are 30 minutes to two hours away (Florence).
