The master has a king size bed.The 2nd bedroom offers a queen size bed.. The third bedroom has a full size bed. it also has 2 full bathrooms. . The apartment offers hardwood floors, gas range, washer and dryer and dishwasher.There is also an outdoor deck with a sunny southern exposure. Turners Falls has a lot to offer the convenience of being close to shops and restaurants. It is close to hiking and bike trails along the Connecticut River. The River culture council offers events, such as the annual fall festival and Ciderdays.l. We also offer bicycles for use on the extensive bike trail system. Meticulously clean and disinfected. Great affordable getaway
My husband and I love staying in this 2nd floor apartment. The owner is super accommodating and the apartment has all the comforts of home. The town is right down the street and has a great coffee shop and a great pizzeria. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

good for extended stay
I was there for 6 days and had a lovely stay. The place feels homey and there is everything you need to cook and do laundry during a stay. I had a bit of a hard time with the stairs, they are very steep, and I don't have great knees, but if you are ok with stairs, this is a comfy place to be.

Perfect and just as advertised
This was the perfect place for a last minute junket to see the New England color. Host was incredibly helpful and the place was just as advertised. ONE note--if you are not familiar with traditional New England stairs, this is not ideal for anyone who struggles with steps, but once inside it was PERFECT.

Turners Falls Stay
We enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean, well equipped, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were more spacious than expected and we loved the layout! There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The host was also very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Thank you for making our stay so easy and comfortable!

Our check in and check out process was really easy. We enjoyed getting to know the area while visiting friends. It was just myself and my daughter but the house is very large and could easily accommodate a large family or group of friends. James was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

I made a mistake as to the dates and James was very quick to resolve it for us. Then on the way out we left a cell phone in the unit and James went out of his way to get us in to retrieve it.

Great apartment for a quick visit home
The apartment was stocked well with everything we needed for a six day stay. It is an older building so don't expect perfection. The windows let in a lot of cold air when the temps were freezing but nothing a blanket couldn't fix while relaxing. The washer and dryer worked great, that was a huge plus for us because we hate traveling home with a bunch of dirty laundry. Dishwasher worked fine but a couple of the burners on the gas stove would not light for us. That was no big deal. If you an old New England charm home, this would be it. The host is very responsive and will make sure you have a fantastic stay!

First time in an air b&b.
Excellent facility for the money. However I missed the fact it was a 2nd and 3rd floor walk up when I booked it. We are 83 & 75 yrs. and the stairs were difficult for us and for our two small dogs. A slight issue with some carpenter ants. Otherwise it was very welcoming and the owner was easy to communicate with. The apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

the old STAIRS!! Steep, narrow and uneven.
Creaky old house. First impressions were how steep and narrow and dangerous the stairs were. Narrow tread with a high riser and a 90 degree "fan" turn so the stair "tread" you're walking up while hauling your suitcases are triangular in shape. This obviously is an old house with period correct architecture, but it's not mentioned in the property description. We're travelling for a child's college graduation which means we're hauling super heavy & bulky suitcases up and down the stairs helping the kid move back home. We would NOT have stayed here if we knew it had such steep climbs to the main living area and then again to the 3rd floor bedroom. Many of the windows didn't open and the AC are all window units which weren't installed in the windows yet. So it was a bit warm and stuffy. Ceiling fans helped. Spiders in each room but at least they weren't too large. Water didn't taste foul and the linens were clean.

Nice Unit
The unit was well furnished and stocked with everything you could need during your stay. You can tell the structure is old and has been renovated, but that's a part of its charm. As other reviewers noted, the stairs are an issue for disabled folks or older folks with mobility issues. Our dogs weren't too fond of them, but we made do. The shower pressure is enough to rip your skin off, but after a long day of walking and exploring, it was kind of nice for message purposes. My only complaint is the bed in the main floor bedroom. The second anyone sat on it, it collapsed to the floor. The wood slats holding up the box springs are not secure and shift. Not to mention, the bed frame bows out, making the structure of the bed very fragile. A new bed frame is needed and I encourage people beware when sitting on it until it is either fixed or replaced.

Cluttered space
My husband picked this spot as a stop for 2 nights as we made our way from Gettysburg to our home in NH. Turners Falls is a bit of a depressed town that is trying to make a comeback. These are the words of a local and I agree. The apartment has an ant problem as there were many crawling around the floor and walls. We’ve never encountered food left in a fridge and so many items in the cupboards. Even the medicine cabinet had personal items inside. It’s like the owner left all their personal items ( no clothes) but a strange thing to find in my opinion. Lots of knickknacks around and it wasn’t very clean. Thanks paddle fans meet a good cleaning, so much dust on them. We don’t d enjoy the upper deck and spent most of our time out on it, other than inside the house. We were excited the property had bicycles, but I’m 5’2” and both bikes were too large for me to ride. We visited the science center and look a long walk along the waterfront. We made the most of our time here but it’s definitely not a 5 star unit.

Great Place!!!!
My wife and I were looking for a place to relax a few days where we could bring our 2 dogs with us, Finn and Fiona. When we arrived everything was as described. Very clean, perfect location and very comfortable. Everything you need to feel at home. The area itself is very scenic, a short ride to many interesting locations. The whole area is very dog friendly which was important to us since we don't want to leave our "kids" behind. They love traveling with us. I'd recommend James place to anyone traveling to that area with family or friends. There's plenty of room.

Great place in a really cool town.
Property was just as advertised. Big bedrooms and bathrooms with a comfortable living room and modern kitchen. Great water pressure in both showers plus a washer and dryer on site. Cool area very close to a downtown that has coffee houses, restaurants, and cute shops. Nothing but positives For our stay and would definitely stay at James’s place again!

This is our third or fourth time staying here and we really enjoy ourselves. Walkable town with everything everything’you need in close range. It’s great to explore all the other towns in the surrounding areas
