This wonderful apartment is located in an ancient typical Puglia style convent of the first ‘700, which lies at only 2 km from the sea, in the warmth of the sunny and quiet countryside of Puglia. The residence, finely renovated with rigor and respect for the historical identity of the building, is located just at 500 mt from Monopoli.
The rental apartment is set on the ground floor of the structure, it can accommodate up to 4 people and has two areas of private garden. The first is set in front of the apartment and it’s equipped with barbecue and stone table. The second area, accessible from the inside of apartment, has a beautiful veranda overlooking a charming and old citrus grove and a relaxing solarium- area paved in stone. This area is equipped with comfortable sun-loungers and elegant furnishings (table and umbrella): a little corner of absolute tranquility and privacy where to spend unforgettable relaxing moments! The citrus grove surrounded by the original high stone walls, still preserves the ancient columns which bordered the path that leads to a small chapel.
The bedroom with it beautiful vaulted, it’s equipped with a double bed and a single bed. In the spacious living room there is a sofa bed.
In front of living room, there are the fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom with shower.

A calm retreat
A lovely, historic & unusual apartment which has a spacious living area & bedroom & compact kitchen & bathroom. The original convent features are great & the two garden areas, particularly at the rear, with chapel ruins, are private & well equipped with furniture. It's a short drive into Monopoli which is a fascinating & very attractive town. Good access also for the beaches south of the town.

Lovely apartment close to town & many places of interest in Puglia
This is the perfect location if you need to get away from it all but on the other hand be a short drive from the town & facilities. The apartment has character, is spacious & has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You also have the choice of 2 gardens to use with an orchard and old olive groves to explore. It is 10 minutes drive to the old town of Monopoli, where we spent a lot of time. It's a good location & well within reach of Polignano, Alberobello, Ostuni and Matera which are all well worth visiting. Maria checked us in on our first day & was very helpful & offered good advice on the local area. Highly recommend!

Ideal für eine Besichtungstour rund um Monopoli/Bari
Hat man eine Besichtigungstour rund um Monopoli und Bari geplant ist die Ferienwohnung eine sehr gute Wahl. Monopoli bietet alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt, die Lage ist zentral und verkehrsgünstig. Da die Ferienwohnung am Rand von Monopoli liegt ist es in der Tat nicht weit bis zur Stadt, bis zur historischen Stadtmitte sind es dann aber doch ca. 10min mit dem Auto. Die Ferienwohnung ist ruhig gelegen, die Mitbewohner im Haus haben uns wenig gestört. Alles in Allem war es ein gelungener Aufenthalt in Monopoli.

Ruhiger Ort am Rande der Stadt
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, ein kleiner Nachteil ist vielleicht die etwas dürftige Dusche. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung mit uralten Olivenbäumen sehr schön. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der Stadt oder am Meer.

Très agréable séjour,
Appartement en rez de chaussée avec deux très beaux jardins, bien au calme, au milieu d'oliviers, orangers, et citronniers, avec encore les colonnes de l'ancien couvent... Une chambre et un salon/salle à manger spacieux, une kitchenette pas trop mal équipée, et une salle d'eau ( plutôt qu'une salle de bain en réalité ). La voiture est nécessaire, la ville et ses facilités à environ 2 km.

La location est très bien, le jardin au milieu des orangers est magnifique. Accueil chaleureux de Maria, répondant rapidement à nos demandes. Même en étant à pied, nous avons pu nous déplacer pour visiter la région très facilement (train, bus).

Soggiorno in tranquillità
Posizione ottima per raggiungere i principali punti d'interesse in poco tempo. Abitazione storica molto spaziosa e ben tenuta, lontano dal caos della città di Monopoli, ma a 3 minuti di auto dalla stessa. Mai acceso il condizionatore nonostante i 35 gradi all'esterno. Fantastico poter fare colazione all'ombra di un ampio agrumeto. Zanzariere presenti, ma consiglio comunque di portarsi antizanzare. Katia gentilissima e disponibile.

Urlaub in Apulien
Wir haben 10 Tage in Marias Wohnung verbracht. Für uns war der Aufenthalt nicht ganz ideal, da wir uns z.B. auf die Beschreibung "500 m zum Dorf" verlassen haben und es sich bei dem "Dorf" und unschöne Vororte gehandelt hat und der eigentliche Ort nur mit Auto zu erreichen war. Was uns ebenfalls ungeheuer eingeschränkt hat, war die Tatsache, dass über der Wohnung im 1. Stock eine Familie mit 2 kleinen Kindern wohnt, die nicht gerade leise ist und wir von der - in der Tat recht hübschen Terrasse - relativ wenig hatten, es war permanentes Geschrei! Was man ebenfalls wissen muss - wofür der Vermieter selbstverständlich nicht verantwortlich ist - dass selbst zur Tageszeit Moskitos kräftig ihr Unwesen treiben, sehr lästig! Für Urlauber, die Ruhe suchen, ist dieses Objekt leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Beschreibung "...in einem ehemaligen Kloster" führt ein wenig in die Irre. Monopoli selbst ist ein recht hübscher Ort, als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen ist er nicht schlecht. Für uns, wie gesagt, war es alles in allem nicht ideal.

Schandalige ontvangst. Onze vertraagde vlucht bracht ons 's nachts tegen 2u bij het appartement.
De hospita was niet bereid ons zo laat nog binnen laten. We hebben in de auto moeten slapen! Verder was ons verblijf bijzonder onaangenaam door de aanwezigheid van bovenburen met 'n klein kind dat de hele dag aan 't schreeuwen was. De houten verdiepingsvloer droeg ook nog eens bij aan de algehele onrust. Als vakantieverblijf absoluut af te raden. Niet doen!

comfortable, quiet, and very nice.
We really recommend this apartment, it was very nice, the bedroom was big, and there was airco . The kitchen was small but very well equipped. And there were 2 gardens! One totally private with comfortable chairs and a dinner table and lots of citrus trees, the other with grass, trees and flowers and a bbq. We stayed home a lot, to read and dream in the shadow of the trees. In the evening the mosquito's take their chance, bring something strong against them! We hired bikes, we were within ten minutes in the centre [it's only 2 km], and at the sea side. There are several little beaches. And Monopoli is very beautifull. The traffic is ok, cars are attentive and polite to bikers. If you want to bike in the evening take lights with you; it is dangerous to bike in the darkness without it. You can also go to the station [you can even walk, 10 to 15 minutes] and take a train to another lovely village. The owner is very kind, she came to the station to bring us to the apartment [and take us there again], and we could phone her anytime if needed. We recommend this apartment!
