In the heart of the Asolo hills, in a sunny and panoramic position, Villa La Cimetta has a private swimming pool, in a dominant and enchanting position. It is exposed to the full sun, in total privacy, without being isolated. It has an olive grove that can be crossed to the bottom of the small opposite valley and offers a panoramic view of the Monte Grappa massif and, in the distance to the southwest, the iconic Rocca di Asolo.

It is the ideal place for those who love contact with nature, with its silence and sounds, suitable for a rest in the open air, a tea under the trees or an aperitif under the portico at sunset, in the quiet of beautiful and little known hills like those of Monfumo.
At La Cimetta, you can leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life and rediscover a magical dimension of everyday life, undisturbed by noise and night-time lights, where you can escape from the rhythms of everyday life.

La Cimetta has all the comforts of a cosy and well-kept home, ready to welcome guests in an intimate and familiar atmosphere without losing their habits. First of all, the eating habits, because the house has everything: the kitchen is well equipped with a set of first-rate cooking utensils and a large fireplace with a grill for cooking on the fire. Two sets of crockery and glasses guarantee the pleasure of a simple but elegant table setting, and a table on the veranda allows you to dine alfresco with a view of a natural, unspoilt panorama. The living room and the large sofa with the open fireplace are the norm in autumn evenings; the house remains available in winter but under particular conditions.

La Cimetta is for those who want to discover the most attractive part of the Veneto region, close to Venice with its magical charm, and cities such as Padua, Belluno, Vicenza and Verona, all of which can be visited within 60 to 90 minutes by car, with museums, exhibitions, restaurants and excellent shopping facilities. Asolo and its surroundings, the entire province of Treviso, defined as the Marca Gioiosa, the Garden of Venice, and the Land of Venice, according to the Veneto Region website, are the starting point for countless discoveries that will turn into unforgettable experiences. Castelfranco and Bassano, a delight for the eyes and the palate, the moving Canova Museum in Possagno, the extraordinary Palladian villa in Maser, the beautiful Feltre and many more are destinations to be planned during your stay in this country house in the hills, bearing in mind that, in addition to art, architecture and history, there are many opportunities to practise all kinds of sports, from swimming to guided walks, including cycling, tennis (the nearest facility is 900 metres away) and golf with a 27-hole course and three different courses just a few minutes drive from Monfumo.

Contact us and come and spend a wonderful holiday at La Cimetta... we are waiting for you!

Serious communication issues
This was a very disappointing experience. Not only was the house full of mosquitoes (inside and out), but there was no air conditioning making it very difficult to use BOTH inside and outside facilities. Additionally, there were insufficient pillows, scratchy sheets, and a bunk bed that was supposed to open into a full size bed but didn't. But, mostly, the fact that Alessandra CAME INTO the house while we weren't there and called me MULTIPLE times during our vacation to complain about a "deposit" that we didn't owe was the most frustrating part. Finally, we left a day early and let her know this after the first night because of the conditions. She asked us to be out by 9:30 so the cleaning crew could come in. We were gone by 9 and then received MULTIPLE calls from her saying we were very poor guests ! She continued to say w owed her a "deposit" when the house had been paid in full 2 weeks before we came. She never gave us a cost for the additional day after many WELL DOCUMENTED attempts to find out if/how much we owed. Since we did not use the additional night, and we let her know that immediately after the first night, we believe we did not owe her anything else. Overall, the home was unique and in a beautiful location, but I would NOT recommend this VRBO to anyone, especially in the warmer months.

Beautiful property, fabulous host.
Beautifully laid out property, has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen. All bedrooms en-suite. Plenty of outdoor seating, by the pool or in the shady loggia. Lovely area, with plenty to do nearby. (The Canova museum and the Brion Tombe especially were highlights). The owner produces her own Prosecco, so booking a tasting is a must. She was away on holiday during our stay but went above and beyond to organise a tasting for us in Venice (where we were staying the week before). She was so helpful, and really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Had a fantastic relaxing time and would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful! but a bit hot and buggy (during heat wave)
We had an amazing time in Monfumo. The house and property are kept very nicely. It was so nice to be greeted with fresh flowers and a few essentials. It really felt like a home away from home. The home has unique built in closets and drawers and beautiful wooden arched doorways. The pool was clean and incredibly refreshing. The porches were lovely and accommodating. My only criticism was that the property didn't have air conditioning or fans and the front rooms didn't have screens in the windows. We happened to be there during a heat wave in July, so the temperatures were in the mid 90's all week. While these temperatures are likely atypical, having some fans at the house would be helpful in my opinion. Also to keep cool we opened the windows in the evenings and since the front room had no screens we had mosquitoes and large wasps entering the home. Other than that the home is absolutely delightful! We especially enjoyed using the espresso machine in the mornings and swimming in the pool.

Lovely house in the countryside
Very large villa in a nice location, ranging from picturesque to slightly rustic. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Alessandra is a very friendly host; she respected our privacy but provided valuable insider information upon request. A place to return to.

Our stay in La Cimetta
We had a nice time at La Cimetta. The house is very cozy and nicely decorated, situated in a beautiful area. The pool is large and well-kept. The surroundings provide peace and intimacy. Behind the fence there is a vineyard and an olive grove. We haven't met any other tourists in the area. Nearby (a few minutes by car) there are some very good restaurants where local people eat. The owner is nice and helpful, but in case of any questions / problem, it happened that she did not answer the phone and called back the next day. The wine she produces in her vineyard is worth recommending - we bought several boxes for home. On arrival, we were greeted by the owner and her husband, who seemed dissatisfied with the fact that strangers would be living in his house. We were surprised to have to pay a deposit, which was not included in the announcement on the VRBO portal. In addition, it turned out that we had to pay for the electricity consumed at the end of the stay. Considering the very high price of renting the property, these costs are small, but the surprise was unpleasant. The rental price should take into account the consumption of basic utilities. So far, neither we nor our friends have encountered such a situation in other properties. On the day of departure, it turned out that we have over 80 euro to pay (for 1 week) - it was surprising because we are people who consume electricity economically. The owner quoted 45 cents for 1 kWh, which is probably not a real price. The people who collected the keys from us were very nice, although they did not speak English. They were not prepared to return the deposit, they had no cash with them. We covered the purchase amount of the wine from the deposit. We left 100 euros to cover the electricity costs. The owner promised that she would count the exact amount and return the rest to our account, but so far we have not received any information or refund. It's not about big money, but leaves an unpleasant impression. Due to this the departure was a bit stressful for us. To sum up - the area is beautiful and peaceful, the house is cozy and comfortable with a nice swimming pool, you can eat well in the area. However, a few details need to be fine-tuned in terms of rental costs.

Assolutamente consigliata! Grazie Alessandra e alla prossima!
