Perfect Lake House!!
We loved our stay. Place was clean and accommodating. Dock house was great for the boat that we brought. Kids had a great time swimming in the lake at the dock, as did the adults. Will definitely coming back here in the future!

Driftwood Experience
This is an amazing house that is perfect for a family or group that is looking for the best SML experience. The house is well laid out and outfitted for a great home like experience. The dock is absolutely the best with amazing views and all the comforts anyone would want to experience. Our family and guest spent as much time as possible enjoying the lake life from the awesome dock. A must for anyone looking for the best lake experience.

Absolutely fabulous property
This was a wonderful property for our annual lake vacation. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the host were very responsive into our needs. The dock and outdoor areas were spectacular. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed for the week. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Amazing Spot
Beautiful views of the quiet cove from the house, deck, and dock. We had 4 adults and 4 kids stay during this trip and everyone had a great time. The house was immaculate and very, very clean. Had everything we needed for cooking and gilling. We were pleasantly surprised by house nice the dock was. Plenty of shade and plenty of water depth made swimming by the dock our staple for the trip. Very comfortable dock furniture, fridge, and card tables made it a very nice entertaining spot. We took advantage of the paddleboards and kayaks provided, which were all in great condition, for paddles around the nearby coves. We ended up renting a boat from a nearby marina and enjoyed the close proximity to the Bridge and to Drifters. I can't think of any major negatives to note about the place. It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return.

Our favorite stay at SML yet!
The house is inviting and charming and has been beautifully updated with new furnishing and comfortable beds, linens and plush towels. The deck is the perfect place for coffee in the morning with the water view and the dock is amazing with its perfect location in the back of the cove for relaxing and the kids to jump and swim. The floating dock is a little short but fine for even a pontoon and the owners are lovely and very responsive even on a holiday. We will definitely be back!

Big hit for a big family
This home was a perfect spot for our large family of eight (adult daughter and fiancé, three teen sons and a six year old son) The home is immaculately clean and on a quiet cove close to many destinations in the area. We found the interior of the home even better than the photographs. The furnishings are well styled and comfortable. The sweet aroma of gardenia greets you as you enter and exit the covered dock with bar. The dock is absolutely exquisite for a place to lounge, play, and launch a day’s worth of activities on the lake. We enjoyed swimming off of the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, reading, and launching our boat for ski runs, tubing, and exploring the lake. We also observed wildlife from the dock. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to utilize the kayaks and paddle boards during our stay. The teenagers enjoyed the ping pong and foosball tables on the lower floor. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and be together. The game room is well stocked with games, but we had perfect weather and didn’t even have a chance to utilize it. Stacy + Marie were very responsive and wonderful hosts during our entire stay. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.

Amazing place on water
We had an amazing time at Smith Mountain Lake at this property. The property was clean, right on the water and had great space to enjoy the lake with a spacious dock at the end of a cove. We also used the dock to keep my bass boat in the water over the weekend! Communication with the property manager was excellent and would refer this place to anyone.

Wonderful
Our stay was wonderful. The hosts/owners thought of everything and we had a need or want for anything. The hosts/owners were very responsive and helpful when we reached out for questions on the area. The dock house area was great and there were plenty of activities for us to do without leaving. My only complaint is that I wish the fishing was better and of course, the owners can't help with that. :)

Very lovely house and super clean. There was no firewood as indicated in the advertisement, but we collected fallen branches and that worked. Hot tub was wonderful and overall great property! Would recommend.

Wonderful family Thanksgiving gathering place.
Driftwood Pointe was the perfect location for our multi-generational family Thanksgiving stay. The house is accurately represented and offers the perfect layout for both privacy and gatherings. The kitchen provided every item we needed for our food-centric holiday celebration. The gas fireplace offered warmth and ambience for both dining and living spaces. We loved the game room! Even though the weather was cool, we utilized the kayaks and wonderful boathouse. The setting is just beautiful! Beds were comfortable and bathrooms, as well as the entire house, were spotless. Communication with the owners was flawless. This may be the start of a new family tradition for us. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing weekend stay!
Really enjoyable and memorable weekend! The property is super clean and comfortable, with many lovely amenities. We loved the dock house amenities - very comfortable with outside TV; kayaks, fishing equipment, dockside grill, fridge etc. The firepit and hot tub were great. The house has comfy beds, lots of games and anything you could possibly need during a family trip. Great attention to details in everything. Also the management is super nice and responsive! Just perfect. We will be back! Thank you so much!

Amazing home and location!
This was a beautiful house and exactly as advertised. Clean with comfortable beds, fun basement with ping pong and foosball for kids. Amazing dock with TV and very relaxing furniture and fun water toys. We had to make a last minute switch to this home and it was very easy to communicate with the owner who graciously accommodated us. Amazing house and very positive experience!

Top notch dock + house combo
Great property! We hung out on the dock all day when the weather was nice, and the house offered plenty of entertainment indoors when it rained! Property was clean, plenty of space for our group of five, host communication was great. I can't say enough about how awesome the dock setup is- partially covered, multiple types of seating, music and tv - flexible use ensures future guests can make the most of it. Would definitely stay again!

The property was great, located well for our trip (men's trip - brothers and dad). Restaurants were well located, close to all points of water sports, etc. Home was very nice, very clean, well maintained, beautiful landscaping. This property was as perfect as perfect gets. Clean, well stocked kitchen, nice TVs, great dock, very comfy beds with super nice linens, very spacious. The only negative was the steepness of the drive but that is the nature of the beast. Once inside you totally forget about that. We will probably be back. The Moons

Great lake house!
We walked in to a beautiful living room with huge windows looking onto lake. So many rooms have view of lake. Spacious house with all the extras we could need, well-stocked kitchen, tons of outdoor options, bonfire supplies, plenty of board/card games in cute game room, and full game set-up in lower level too. We especially loved the roomy dock, which provided great fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. Location was great, just 15 minutes from everything - boat rental, horseback riding, state park for hiking, restaurants, ice cream, mini-golf. Wonderful rental!

Lovely spacious home
It is a very, very nice vacation house. All of six of us really enjoyed our too short time at Smith Mountain Lake. Right on the water in a secluded cove. Outstanding dock area that is mostly covered. The two kayaks and paddleboards, and the ping pong table definitely got used. Had a couple of questions for the hosts, and they got back to me quite quickly. I could see VRBO using this place in one of their TV advertisements.

House/Property was absolutely great for all ages. Plenty to do and very entertaining. Never heard "I'm bored" house is very clean and spacious. Dock was just as it appears in the pictures. Looking forward to visiting again!

Best lake house ever!
We have been coming to SML for the last 7 years and this house and dock is by far the best we have rented. The house was sparkling clean, felt cozy, updated and is absolutely beautiful from the decor and furniture to the layout. The home was so well stocked- it had everything we needed or could've wanted. We especially loved the 2 different coffee makers- some of us brought pods and some brought a bag of coffee, so great to have both! The bedrooms and bedding were all really lovely and so comfortable- felt brand new. The kids said they felt like they were at a fun summer camp in their basement room! The kids also loved having their own space in the evenings to run around, play and watch a movie in the large basement while all the adults got to be together in the lounge room upstairs to play cards! We got lucky with beautiful weather so spent most of our time outside on the dock enjoying the kayaks & paddleboards and really appreciated the big supply of different sized life jackets! The kids loved eating lunch at "the dock bar" still wet and hopped right back in the lake when they were done. We made s'mores at the firepit our last night and loved the oversized chairs to relax in. We used both grills and ate all 3 meals a day outside either on the dock or the upper deck- both had such incredible views of the lake- we all said we felt so lucky to have gotten to stay there! We will not only be back to SML soon but cannot wait to stay in this wonderful home again!
