"This pub hotel is a great stop over for the family for the Mackay to Brisbane drive. Price was good, family room was huge, clean and felt like sleeping in a great big Queenslander. Female toilets and showers are refurbished and looking fresh. Pub directly downstairs provided a good meal with Pizza and huge pub meals available. The beer on tap was cold and the outdoor playground was loved by my kids. Stayed here twice now on our adventure to brisbane and back. Also a great coffee shop just down the road in gin gin with toasties & ok coffee for the morning. "

"The room was very clean. Only dust found was on the fluorescent bulbs behind bed. No bugs on ceiling or dirt found anywhere else. Bathroom updated and drains clean. Only place in Australia we stayed where drains were clean. There was a hook to hang towel for shower. The guest book was a great read we visited the restaurant across the street and tunnel. Bed was firm and pillows flat but got two. Staff was super friendly. This is the best place to stay in Gin Gin."

"Our hosts were very well organised and very hospitable. We ordered dinner and breakfast from the menu they offered and were delighted with the quality and presentation of the food. The tiny house itself is delightful and the bed was super comfortable. Location is very private. Altogether a charming experience!"
