The Oasis of the Vandals is a small tourist residence just outside the walls of the historic center of Mondolfo, an enchanting and peaceful medieval village located on the first hill a few steps from the sea.
The house, completely renovated and completely available to guests, is spread over two levels and is furnished with care and attention to detail. On two sides it is surrounded by a delightful equipped garden which also overlooks the beautiful Marche countryside.
The house is composed at P. T. of an environment used as a living room-kitchen with terracotta flooring and wooden attic, and a bathroom. On P. 1 there is a large and bright double bedroom with exposed wooden roof and parquet floor, which is accessed by a comfortable terracotta staircase. The furnishings are cared for and the rustic and contemporary style merge creating a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
The kitchenette has everything you need for preparing meals. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed and 32 'LED TV with satellite channels. The double bedroom also has a 49 'LED TV with satellite channels, as well as a comfortable single pouffe-bed and a possible cot. These two extra beds allow you to accommodate young travelers next to mom and dad if you decide not to use the sofa bed on the ground floor.
The garden of the house is accessible both from the public sidewalk (convenient for the use of bicycles) and from the living room and is equipped with a wooden table and chairs for eating, a brick barbecue, two sun loungers, a comfortable closet for bicycles, a pleasant sheltered outdoor shower, with hot water and relaxing countryside views. Needless to say, the outdoor area, of about 90 square meters, allows those traveling with pets to allow them to enjoy adequate spaces too.
We will be there to welcome you, get to know you and suggest itineraries to discover our magnificent territory, so as to allow you to turn your visit into a memorable experience.
To begin with Mondolfo is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and, although located on a slight hill, it is just 5 km from the motorway exit and the equipped beach of Marotta, the seaside village awarded the Blue Flag award.
The village is located in a strategic position to leave for the countless renowned localities such as Senigallia, Corinaldo, Fano, Cattolica and Riccione to bring only a few examples; it is also an excellent starting point for excursions to the naturalistic sites of the area, namely those of the Gola del Furlo, the Frasassi Caves, the Conero Riviera, Monte Nerone, Monte Catria and Monte San Bartolo.
The area also offers religious-cultural destinations such as the famous Loreto with its Sanctuary of the Holy House, the Castle of Gradara, the magnificent Urbino, the wonderful Fonte Avellana Monastery in Serra Sant'Abbondio and the nearby museum of the Golden Bronzes of Pergola.
Furthermore, there are numerous food and wine itineraries linked to the presence of noble wines such as Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOCG, Rosso Conero DOCG and fantastic products such as the Tartufo di Acqualagna and the Favino di Fratte Rosa, a small village known for the production of crockery.
To satisfy the most refined and curious palates, a few km away in Senigallia you can also find 2 starred restaurants: La Madonnina del pescatore (2 MICHELIN stars) and the Uliassi restaurant (3 MICHELIN stars).
In short, a magnificent territory able to surprise the most demanding and curious tourist but also the traveler eager for sun, sea and relaxation.
