We had such a great time with our family at this house. It was so comfortable, clean and well kept. We loved the view from the back screened porch and really enjoyed being able to take the kayaks out right from the backyard. The owners were really responsive to our needs and really nice people. The beds were the best we've ever slept on in a vacation rental.

I can’t wait to come back!
We are locals and we try to spend 1-2 weekends a month at the lake. This has been one of our favorite places so far. We needed a last minute booking due to an error for Labor Day weekend. I’m so glad it worked out the way it did. From the bottle of wine to the kayaks everything was perfect. Sarah was an absolute treasure for a host. Highly recommend!

Great Laid Back Weekend
The Cove was a dream for a girls weekend away for a bachelorette trip. We wanted something laid back but close enough to explore. The house was gorgeous and the views incredible. The back porch was perfect for those who woke up early enough to enjoy coffee and the peaceful atmosphere. We were close enough for a Charleston day trip. We also met a neighbor who was super friendly and suggested that we visit Shem’s Creek on Saturday; we ended up doing that and did not regret it at all. I’m already planning a trip back with my family to get to enjoy the lake, fish, and the kids will love the loft area.

Peace and Tranquility.
As this was our first trip to the Charleston area we wanted to find a relaxing place to stay at that was still close to the city. This house did not disappoint. The peacefulness of being near the water and the comfort of the beds was by far exceptional. My parents loved the layout of the house so much that they decided this would be a great retirement home. Next time we come up here we will definitely be staying here again except we will bring a boat to explore the huge lake. Thanks for sharing your house with us Sarah and Weston.

Charming Lakefront Home
We enjoyed the peaceful location and that the home pretty much had anything you might need. My two grandsons really got excited about the kids reading nook and fishing off the dock. We were attending a family reunion at Bonneau 2 days and went to Charleston for a day which was only 45 minutes away. We mainly spent the evenings there and always felt safe. The only thing I would add is that there were no wash cloths. Beds were very comfortable. We may definately stay again in the future.

House location was excellent. It was very clean as well. Owners were congenial and responsive.
The daily rate is high for the amenities provided. Had difficulty with cable and internet services. While very clean and presentable the furniture was uncomfortable and sparse. We had a limited number of guests, had we max out the sleeping accommodations the other furnishings in the house would not support that number of people.

Wonderful place to stay on Lake Moultrie!!
This house is GREAT!! We had 7 guys stay at "The Cove" for our annual week long fishing trip on Lake Moultrie. This house worked out great for our needs, especially he garage. We had plenty of room in the garage to store all our coolers, boxes and other fishing gear out of the way. The kitchen was plenty big with lots of cabinet storage space & nice up to date appliances. It has a nice large dining room table and serving island in the kitchen. Bedrooms were spacious with room for extra cots or air mattresses for additional occupants. Plenty of linens and blankets are supplied. Our fishing gang will definitely be going back to "The Cove" next year for our annual fishing trip!! A big thank you to the Minters for their hospitality! We thought the downstairs of the property was fine. Upstairs which had two beds was not, mold in the shower and many spiders in the AC unit. We chose to leave after one night and the owner refunded the room charge for the other two nights but not the taxes and service fees for the additional nights. Not a fun experience at all. Not to mention half of our guest had to sleep on an air mattress and couch since we couldn’t use the upstairs beds.

Our stay at The Cove exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, the house was extremely clean, cozy, and welcoming. We brought our boat and had 2 day trips to Charleston. The weather was expected to be rainy and Sarah was extremely helpful. The weather was great with only 1 quick storm each day. We are excited to book our next trip to The Cove.
