"This is the best stay option in Bayeur. Isabelle was very kind. She came to the train station to drive us to her B&B. Her property is on a very quiet street. But it is so close to the Main Street and all the shops, restaurants, local attractions, all in a few min walking distance. The room is very nice, clean, and European which we love. The breakfast she cooked every day was so delicious. She provided many great suggestions. She even made dinner reservation for us as restaurants get full...

From the front door it was a 100 meter walk to the middle of Gold Beach and a 1-2 km drive or hike up to the cliff top memorial over Arromanches. Perfect for our short stop during a self-guided exploration of the historic sites of Normandy."

"We had a great experience there. Our host Vanessa was very kind, friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful, clean, very comfortable and maintained to a high standard. The pool and hot tub make it even more pleasant. And what a feeling to be surrendered by all those horses. We were lucky enough to go along Vanessa when she went feeding the horses, she took time to explain to us many things about life in the horse-breeding farm. Also it's important to mention how amazing the breakfast was...

"Sylvie and Jean-Michel were absolutely amazing hosts. They are a warm, friendly and engaging couple that love what they do. Their lovely B&B is just a block from the beach where you can walk or ride for hours if you choose. The room was private, delightfully decorated, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. "The Victoria B&B is an outstanding property located close to the D-Day memorial. Our room was immaculate, very quiet, and had a view of the garden. The breakfast was excellent. "Lovely property! The bakery is unique lodging and was in an excellent location to explore Normandy. The walk into Bayeux was a bit long but lovely along a river. We visited the DDay sites as well as Mont St Michel by car. The owner lives in a large house on the property and was very welcoming and informative, though with no one present on arrival it was easy to follow directions to access the property. This is absolutely a great location to stay if you are travelling in Normandy by car. "
