"Like many of the others who have stayed here and reviewed... the place is a magical and peaceful house 'in the middle of nowhere'. I'd like to be completely honest so I will break down a few topics to give some clarity of my review. Communication / Check-In: Leading up to and then during our stay, communication with the host / property manager was quite easy the entire time on the VRBO app and then mostly through WhatsApp while we were there (If you are travelling from North America.. get WhatsApp.. you will thank me later). Check in was a little hectic... our host was a very kind, happy, and bubbly person but spoke zero English, so we had to communicate through Google Translate or general hand signals (which was perfectly fine and it worked). Like many houses in Italy it took a while to figure out what light switches worked what lights... especially the ones outside near the picnic table, barbeque, and pizza oven. So if you plan on using the outdoor space, make sure to listen to the host and then go back around later to try to figure the switches out. The Building: Was really nice... very typical of the area and 'homey'. Comfortable furniture and a nice kitchen space for preparing meals. There are a bunch of things kicking around from previous guests... but I don't think anything is 'stocked' by the host... so you will need to go grocery shopping for supplies (I recommend Coop in Sinalunga... about 20 minutes away). Apparently there is no room to extend this review"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! It was just wonderful, and Luigi was a fantastic host! The views from every part of the villa are amazing! It was so fun to see all of the sheep each morning and watch the sunset in the evenings. We were fortunate enough to be in town for the olive festival in Montisi, the quaint little village just a few miles away. We had a blast! The recommended chef who cooked for us at the villa, Giancarlo from the Tuscan Chef, was incredible! What a fantastic recommendation! We also loved the food in town at Cantina 97. It was awesome! We hope that we can come back to this special villa again someday!"
