"It certainly exceeded my expectation. I was not too sure due to it's rather low ratings at hotel.com in a low 8. Since it's just about the one or two five star hotels here so I took a chance on it. Yes, it's a five star which comes with all the convenience: a ski rental shop on site, a ski locker and access to a chair lift to come up. Breakfast is so so and coffee can be better. I like the room very much"

"For a first time ski weekend this hotel couldn’t be better! Located just by the ski lifts, secure ski lockers were provided. The room was very cosy and warm, clean, well equipped, warm soft light and hot showers. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. On last day we were able to store our belongings in the locker and take shower in a separate space for departing guests. I can highly recommend to anyone who comes with intention of skiing and being close to the heart of Sierra...

"We were some of the only people there, it was off season for this location so parking and the pool were no problem but you have to drive in order to get to any of the sites or attractions. Staff was friendly and room was big with plenty of space for a large family. A/C worked well."
