Villa Kapungu consists of the main house, a guest house, a private pool (12m x 6m = 40ft x 20ft), a 2000m2 (21500ft2) private garden, a roofed carport for two cars and a storing place.

The estate is located in the heart of Diani Beach (which is regarded as one of the most beautiful palm beaches in the world) within the gated community 'Msitu Kwetu' (Swahili: jungle dream); only 240m (787ft) from the beach and offers absolute privacy in it's 2000m2 (21500ft2) tropical garden.

The Villa Kapungu main house has a living area of 300m2 (3230ft2) spread across three levels with an exclusive panorama platform on top with a breathtaking 360 degree roundview. From here you can enjoy the sunrise over the coral reef of the Indian ocean in the east and the sunset over the shimba hills in the west. Different species of monkeys (the rare and special Colobus among them) in the bordering bushland can also be easily observed here.

Aside from the extraordinary views from the platform, the main house also provides a living area with a gallery, balcony, terrace and a kitchen. On the ground floor and in the guest house are a total of four spacious bedrooms with four exclusive ensuite-bathrooms. The entire estate is equipped with top-quality, african-'lamu'-styled furniture combined with European luxury.

A trained chef, housemaid and gardener (who is also responsible for the daily cleaning of the swimming pool) will look after your wellbeing during your stay. On the day of your arrival the chef will discuss with you your preferences regarding meals and shopping. If desired, fresh seafood can be delivered daily to the premises by the fisher.

A masseur or personal trainer can be requested if required. Taxis can be called at any time and there are also car rental opportunities.

Einfach eine Traumunterkunft
Wir war für 2 Wochen in der Villa Kapungu. Es war einfach ein Traum. Das ganze Gelände ist perfekt angelegt und sauber. Der Pool, die Aussicht, die Angestellten, das Essen... Alles einfach nur ohne jegliche Beanstandung. Ich weiß gar nicht was ich hier sonst schreiben soll... Uns fällt einfach nichts dazu ein außer "Perfekt"!. wunschlos glücklich
Familienurlaub auf höchstem Niveau! Das Haus und ganz besonders das Personal lassen überhaupt keine Wünsche unerfüllt. Eine rundherum diskrete Betreuung in einem Traum Anwesen, das mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Der sehr große Pool ist toll, der Weg zum Meer ist wirklich kurz - und das Ziel machte uns jedesmal aufs Neue sprachlos, so ein wunderschöner Strand, ein Traum. Es ist schon etwas ganz Besonderes, wenn vormittags der Fischer kommt und man sich seine "Beute" aussuchen kann, die dann abends vom Koch gegrillt auf den Teller kommt. Wir waren 6 Erwachsene, 2 Doppelzimmer und 2 Einzelzimmer und denken, dass wirklich noch Luft nach oben war von der Belegung. Dieses Haus ist sicher jeden Cent wert, wir können es nur empfehlen!!!!!

Wir wurden vom Vermieter bestens vorbereitet und betreut. Das exklusive Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und toll ausgestattet. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen. Am Vormittag brachte der Fischer frische Fische, Garnelen, Lobster oder Tintenfische, die der Koch köstlich zubereitete. Der Gärtner begleitete uns zum 2min entfernten und atemberaubenden Strand, erklärte uns die Umgebung und lernte den Kindern sogar Karate. Es war der perfekte Urlaub!

TRAUMURLAUB Diani Beach
Wir waren in den letzten Jahren bereits mehrmals in Afrika auf Urlaub. Die Entscheidung für unseren Urlaub im Februar 2014 ist erstmals auf Ostafrika, Kenia, gefallen. Diese Reise hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt: Safari in die legendären Masai Mara, unendlich lange Spaziergänge am weißen Korallenstrand und eines unserer Highlights: Ein Schnorcheltrip mit Delphinen an der Diani Beach. Das absolute Highlight unserer Reise war jedoch die Villa Kapungu. Diese hochwertige und mit viel Geschmack und Stil eingerichtete Anlage im Herzen der Diani Beach war der absolute Hammer! Vom privaten Pool, den täglichen Erlebnissen mit den verschiedenen Affenarten direkt am Grundstück (speziell mit den seltenen Colobus) bis hin zum Fitnessstudio blieb kein Wunsch offen und überstieg bei weitem unsere Erwartungen. Die 360 Grad Terasse in luftiger Höhe war atemberaubend und wir genossen täglich die Sonnenuntergänge über den Shimba Hills bei einem Drink. Das Personal war in Sachen Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit sowie Hilfbereitschaft nicht zu überbieten. Gärtner Katana, der sich täglich um den Pool kümmerte und für jegliche Unterstützung immer mit einem Lächeln zur Verfügung stand, das Zimmermädchen Dorkas und nicht zuletzt der "Haubenkoch" Kahindi, dem es immer wieder gelang uns mit seinen Kochkünsten zu begeistern. In Summe hat die Villa Kapungu unsere Erwartungen, die wir aufgrund der Homepage hatten, noch bei weitem übertroffen. Eine Überraschung war auch der "Rundum Service" der Eigentümer in Punkto: Taxi-Service, Restaurant Tipps, Safari und Ausflugsempfehlungen bzw. deren Buchungen. Wir können Villa Kapungu nur weiterempfehlen und werden unseren nächsten Afrikaurlaub sicher wieder dort verbringen. Ulli & Walter mit Freunden
