"We spent a week at the Resort La Villa, and we enjoyed every single day there. It is a comfortable house, quite spacious and well furnished. We stayed as a family of three, but on one occasion we manage to accommodate six visitors quite comfortably for one day having a long lunch. "The property itself is very nicely renovated and has a high quality touch and feel. Castino is nicely located to explore the Langhe. However, after renting holiday properties for almost 15 years we dare say that this one has let us down in several aspects. First and foremost it is not equipped sufficiently to serve 4 adults leave alone the 8 advertised. "Nous avons loué cette magnifique maison, une semaine où il a plu presque en continu. Et bien évidemment cela gâche beaucoup les vacances.. Néanmoins Federico et ses parents sont adorables, la maison est superbe( bien que peu adaptée selon moi aux familles avec bébé, car on accède aux chambres par un long escalier assez raide) . "Lovely old villa located in the midst of the grape vines just outside Canelli. Gated (electric) entrance with plenty of parking inside the wall. Beautiful views across the valley with vineyards, hazelnut trees, and a local flock of sheep! Tricky 1.5 km drive up a narrow road with lots of twists and turns to get to the villa, but you get used to it after a day or two! Diane and Brian were excellent hosts and most gracious, very willing to answer all our questions, make recommendations, and help...

"Ruhiger und entspannter, ursprünglicher Ort für erholsame Ferien. Etwas abseits gelegen, dies sollte man bei täglichen Fahrtstrecken einberechnen. Dafür wundervolle Gastgeber, 2 tolle Hunde und viel Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit. Wir haben zudem viel gelernt über das Kultivieren von Haselnüssen - die Tour mit Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen.
