They changed the whole cleaning pattern to allow us to stay a little bit longer than the normal check out time, and this allowed us to get some sleep and enjoy the fantastic shower in the room, as well as walk a little around the hotel, which is in a fantastic location. "This is a very good hotel for downtown Glarus. It is less than a block from the train station. It does not have parking but there are city spaces at the train station for 6 franc per day. For Switzerland that's a bargain as there is hardly anything in Switzerland that is just 6 Francs. The hotel is being remodeled so the rooms are in good condition. They are big and roomy, too. You can walk to just about anywhere in Glarus from the Glarnerhof."
