"The home and location are very nice and as described. The reason I am ranking only 3-stars is because the house was very hot when we arrived. We turned the AC to 71 degrees, yet the WYZE thermostat kept remotely changing to 79 degrees. It was about 95 degrees outside, so we couldn’t find any relief from the heat. I contacted the owner a couple of times about the temp changing and was told “Sorry! We’re out of town”. Ultimately, the thermostat shut off completely. We tried to turn it back on with...

"My husband and I loved our visit. The home was so clean (a big deal for me), well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. Beds are super comfortable and the whole home is so spacious. The community is quiet and peaceful and views of the river are just spectacular. We will definitely visit again. "

"We had a great time staying over the long Labor Day weekend. Our young kids and our dogs had a great time playing in the water and fishing off the dock. The stairs to the sand had recently been destroyed, along with a portion of the dock, but we were able to manage with the pool stairs they temporarily put in place. The house is a great location, clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Our stay was wonderful. Cottage is beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view from the screened porch was breathtaking. I was very impressed how clean and organized the cottage was. Anything we needed was there plus extra touches: s'mores kit, popcorn etc. I can go on and on. Communication with the manager was great, response to any questions were answered immediately. "Great property right on Fishing Bay in Deltaville. House is spacious and has charm and updated rooms/baths and appliances. We appreciated the views and ability to sit outside on lawn or on porch. Upstairs rooms/area is amazing. We brought our small dog and we appreciated that. Although a few things weren't working like door keypad and one toilet, the owner had those fixed as soon as possible. We'll be back!"

The place had good DirecTV service and many channels. The wifi was good. Plenty of hot water for our sizeable group. We were very comfortable at "The Point" and recommend it to all."
