"The Lahan Hotel is in an excellent location for access to the village. The staff were super friendly and the service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again."

"Good, but I didn't like Room No. because Asians have numbers they prefer, but the hoel just had Room numbers that I didn't like. Besides that interior design, view, and cleanness of this hotel is fantastic."

"(Pictures are from the end of the stay) Overall a great Korean hotel. The room layout I had was rather weird but the amenities far exceeded anything you’ll find at a US style hotel, depending of course on what’s important to you. The room had a clothes styler which was great for prepping the next day’s outfit. A full body massage chair, which I’d use before my shower at night at bedtime. "Visited with parents during Christmas break. An absolute gem — we loved every small detail in the rooms and play areas, since it was really well decorated with Korean traditional hints everywhere. Also loved the breakfast options they provided us, the food was so good!!! I really want to visit again. Thank you staff for providing such a welcoming experience."

"The suite room was a good size for my family of 6. The free breakfast is the same everyday with eggs, orange, and prepacked food - this did not meet our needs as we needed a more wholesome breakfast. Nonetheless, the staff were really eddicient and friendly."

"The place is at the centre of the village. It was so convenient to walk around. I am an Australian but was born in Korea. This place reminds me my grandmother's old house. The staff was helpful and guided many top local restaurants in Jeonju."

"A nice view of the KTX train station and mountain. Room had a microwave, washer, and styler (with a dryer function). Walking distance from the KTX train station. Bedroom, livingroom, balcony, and kitchen area all looked like a one bedroom apartment. Staff accoommodated requests with hospitality."

"I showed up at the property. There was no one there and the place seemed deserted. I found another place to stay.VERY DISAPPOINTING! I asked Expedia for a refund but not yet received. No other guests or evidence of any presence found. "

"Great hotel, but the toilet was the wrong direction and difficult to use because the front was not facing the door. Had to walk in sideways to use the toilet. Bathtub is nice, bed is comfy. Parking is limited but if there are no spots they will park for you outside."

"When we first visited The May hotel, we had a little or no expectation but we were surprised at the quality of the facility and the services we have received. I can truly say that this place earned its 4 star rating and we're very glad that we had a chance to experience it. Thumbs up and i definitely recommend The May Hotel for your next stay!"

"It was extremely dirty everywhere except for the room which was ok. Barely adequate. The bar/kitchen area looked completely abandoned as though some disaster had hit the place and everyone had run away. The basement area, where we eventually found out we had to make breakfast with mouldy bread was disgusting. There was a large dead cockroach in the sink and the walls were crumbling. We’re not fussy people but this was really bad and we left after one night. The only communication we had was through Instagram with the manager. Not a common thing for people in their 60’s. The photos are from many years ago and the promises in the text are just not available. In summary, one to avoid.."
