"When my kids & I arrived at the property which is a beautiful large 2 storey house, we walked inside & put all our things in our respective rooms then had a short rest on the balcony overlooking the beach before we drove 10 minutes to get to Batemans Bay village centre to stock up on groceries, snacks and supplies before heading back to fill the fridge and head to the beach for a swim. The house has a loungroom & TV downstairs & another loungroom & TV upstairs with 4 bedrooms with a spacious...

"We had a great stay at The Sandbar over Christmas and NYE! Perfect for our extended family group, walking distance to the lake, large backyard for the kids to play soccer & backyard cricket. House was clean and as described, beds comfy! Garage is stocked with various backyard games and bikes for guests to use. Mar & Dars cafe down the road is great for a coffee. Host was very responsive, we had a small issue with one of the fridges not working and it was replaced promptly, despite public holiday...

"Charming cottage. Clearly a well loved family home. Clean and cheerful with a homely feel. Has everything needed for a short or long stay. Bob and Jackie are wonderful hosts. Very generous and helpful in responding to our requests: they persevered with communicating despite the frustratingly poor telecommunication coverage in the area. We - our grandkids, their parents and ourselves - were very comfortable in the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. Would be very happy to stay there again. "
