We came to Italy for a family wedding and found this amazing house for all 10 of us. Amazing house in an amazing location. Everyone loved the house and the pool, just wish we could have stayed longer!
Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 adulti e 4 bambini.
We (two families with four kids in the age from 3-7) had a great and relaxing vacation! We spend a lot of time in the nice pool which is cleaned twice a week 👍🏻
We throughly enjoyed our stay, and will certainly return in the future. The house is beautiful, the landscape stunning, and the locals warm and friendly. We needed somewhere that was safe and secure (children) and felt very relaxed when at the house, and even around the pool and surrounding area. Thank you for helping us make our first family holiday a relaxing and re-energise one. X

The perfect base for a family break in this incredible and surprising part of Italy
We had a fantastic time at Casa Lucciola. We know the region reasonably well and have been visiting Le Marche for ten years or so now. This was our best trip yet, and we ended up wishing we’d found this house years ago!
Our 3 kids (8, 6, and 4) loved the garden, the trampoline, and especially the swing chair, and while the pool was of course a little chilly in April, it was a challenge keeping our eldest out of it. We made daily visits to the brilliant sandy beach at Porto San Giorgio (an easy 35 minute drive) and explored a number of the towns between the house the coast. You’ll find brilliant food, wine, ice cream and hospitality wherever you go. But Il Quadrifoglio on the beach at Porto San Giorgio; Altramare just a block behind; Osteria del’Arco in Magliana di Tenna are all restaurants serving food of a very high standard, that would be twice the price in Tuscany or elsewhere. The best Ice Cream we found was in the beautiful town square at Servigliano.
This really is a wonderful part of Italy. It works superbly well year-round as a base for beaches and the mountains, and it’s a pleasure simply to get in the car (or on your bike if that way inclined) and see where the road takes you.
Thank you to Zoe (and Maja!) for making this such a great place to stay.

Gorgeous
Fabulous house in a wonderful part of Italy. The house is beautifully decorated and we loved the outdoor eating area and large gated garden. Just wish it was warm enough during our stay to use the pool. Next time!

Lovely, comfortable holiday home.
Set in a valley in a very rural location, the house is very well equipped. Spent many hours sitting around the large kitchen table whilst one of us would be preparing dinner. Local food and wine very good. Unfortunately couldn't avail ourselves of sitting outside after late afternoon as the Mosquitos were a problem, despite Jungle formula and burners. The owners also provided a drawer of repellant stuff. Thank you.
Swimming pool was lovely. All regularly attended to.
House also kept very clean.
Wine, milk and some food was awaiting our arrival..again many thanks.
Housekeeper was excellent and responded to queries immediately.
Only slight quibble would be that the sheets on the beds were duvet covers, so not really sufficient to cover comfortably on the occasional cooler night and the mattress protectors need washing between guests.
There was always lots of hot water..it never ran out, despite being such a large group.
Lovely holiday..many thanks for sharing your ' away home '

Beautiful, family friendly country house
Casa Lucciola is the perfect house for families. The location is peaceful, interiors elegant and comfortable, grounds large and well equipped.
We loved the children's room with all the toys and books (our children were in heaven discovering the hampers full of brio, Lego, K' next and dolls) but the huge DVD library, pool and trampoline ensured that there was always something to do.
There are some wonderful restaurants in the area and the house book was really useful. The owners clearly love this house and it is very well maintained - not your usual holiday let.
Thank you so much for a blissful holiday.

Beautiful, peaceful and fireflies to boot
The whole experience of Casa Lucciola is incredible. Lying by the pool, surrounded by the most beautiful scenery around is very relaxing. If you want to be more adventurous there is the lake which is breathtaking and the beach which is great for people watching. My favourite thing is sitting in the little house after dinner with your mates, the candles lit and a glass of fizzy pop in hand (or rose frizzante as the locals call it).

Idyllic Italy
A truly stunning property surrounded by breathtaking beauty, fields of sunflowers and real life Renaissance paintings everywhere you look!
The interior of Casa Lucciola is both stylish, comfortable, well equipped and has a very welcoming feel. As do the beautiful grounds where you can take yourself off for a swing in the hammocks beneath the fig trees, retreat to an exquisite little sun house or just lounge poolside admiring the ancient oaks and surrounding beauty.
There's lots to explore (if you can tear yourself away!) including the most breathtaking mineral lake "Lake Fiastra", a highlight for us and probably the best swim ever. Great beaches, plenty of historical treasures including the church neighbouring Casa Lucciola, fantastic family run trattorias and Mogliano's ice cream parlour was a regular haunt.
An authentic, relaxing, fun Italian holiday, we can't wait to return.

Best holiday
The house was beautiful, the inside and outside is stunning. I instantly felt at home, everything I needed was there and there were no problems. I loved eating in the outside area, swinging on the hammocks at nighttime with fireflies. Lovedddd the pool too! My favourite place that we went was Lake Fiastra which is honestly incredible.

Fabulous House in an idyllic setting
Casa Lucciola is a beautiful spacious house, equipped with everything you need and more. Spotlessly clean and with a fabulous welcome pack of food and wine upon arrival, it is completely Ideal for families with children of all ages.
A short distance from Ancorra airport (about 45 minutes in the car)after arriving us and two other families made ourselves extremely comfortable there!
Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to go round as well as dining areas inside and out enabling us all to eat together at meal times.
The children enjoyed the pool all day, everyday, along with the huge trampoline! Another highlight for them was trying to catch the fireflies every evening that illuminated the surrounding countryside. Absolutely breathtaking!
Sampling the local ice-cream was a pure delight for all, and for the adults sampling the local prosecco and red wine whilst sat round the fire of an evening was heavenly.
We can't wait to return again this year!!

Magnificent family holiday in Mogliano
Traveling as a party of 10 comprising 6 children and 4 adults we travelled from Rome to this most beautiful area of Italy. Initially skeptical about the traveling time with young children, we were all so mesmerized by the mountains and amazing views that the time passed easily. We arrived at Casa Lucciola late on a Sunday afternoon and were stunned by the amazing location and setting of this villa. Nestled amidst sunflowers this beautifully converted farmhouse was perfect for everyone. The property was very clean and tidy and very well equipped, although may have benefited from a little extra seating in the main living area. The bathrooms were very nicely finished, there was an abundance of hot water and the towels and bed linen lovely quality. My sister would have liked 2 pillows but I think she managed without them! The welcome groceries were very well received (and eaten!) and a great taster of the local produce we dined upon for our entire holiday.
Casa Lucciola is set within very secure grounds with a clean swimming pool and plenty of loungers. Our children had a really wonderful time playing in the garden, picking figs and pears and it was a joy to see them play so happily without the need for iPads! The pool may have benefited from a shallow end for our younger children or even a paddling pool but they happily bobbed around with arm bands on.
The local area, the people and the food made this holiday nearly perfect. We spent time at the beach, the nearby lakes and many evenings exploring the beautiful local villages and restaurants.
As a family we are well travelled and rarely do we come home and sing the praises of such an amazing location and villa as we have on this occasion. We very much hope to stay at Casa Lucciola again and have already recommended it to many of our friends.

Casa Lucciola; a little bit of Paradise
From the first time we saw the house as we came down the hill I new this was the perfect place for our family vacation. The web site descriptions were all very accurate, but no picture could do justice to the surrounding area. We spent 3 wonderful weeks enjoying Mogliano and the surrounding area.
The house itself was spotless when we arrived and the manager arranged for weekly cleaning and changing of the sheets and towels. They provided plenty of dishes, cutlery and glasses and even plastic for my grandson. The pool was cleaned twice a week.
We would recommend this property to anyone especially families and big groups.

Perfetto!
Everything was just perfect!
The house was just as beautiful, tastefully furnished and well equipped as promised. The big garden was great for barbecuing, al fresco dining, relaxing in the hammocks, sunbathing… - and the pool was a bliss! The children really enjoyed the huge trampoline and all the toys and games provided. Special thanks for Maya for all assistance!
We totally recommend!

Just plain wonderful!
Casa Lucciola delivered 100% of what was promised! We were six adults and six kids, and fit nicely. The house was clean, stylish and well equipped with plenty of room. Pool and trampoline were great with the kids. Practical arrangements were a breeze. The surroundings are peaceful, rural style. Lucciola is situated some kilometers from a small town with shops - you need a car to do shopping of any kind.

Beautiful Italian countryside chill-out zone
Lovely tasteful and chic farmhouse and pool, a great space for our family of parents, older teenagers / younger 20s and assorted friends. Garden was a fab place to relax, pool was gorgeous, the surrounding hillltop towns enchanting, and best of all it's in a completely unspoilt, authentic, friendly part of Italy. The facilities are excellent, with great bathrooms and lots of good kitchen stuff. Lots of outings to enjoy (all impeccably described in the owners' guidebook) from swimming in the mountain lakes to sunning yourself on the beach to exploring Renaissance architecture and grabbing some luscious fruit and veg in the local market. That's if you can drag yourself away from the loungers by the pool, gazing at the hills and gorging on figs and walnuts from the garden!
