"We arrive a bit early, 1415 hours to be exact. When we went into the front desk area we were told that we were a bit early for check in. I didn’t mind that as I knew. We were early, but I did not feel welcomed. That being said, every other staff member we spoke to was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed speaking to the staff during breakfast and supper. "I stayed at the Kendrick for business and it did not disappoint. Great location, superb B&B, immaculate room with all what you need and a superb view of the sea. Breakfast was wonderful as was my host Nathan. Nothing was too much trouble. He recommended places to eat before my arrival and even nearly drove to the train station when my taxi nearly didn't show up. Would highly recommend."

"The property was not only located in the most convenient location imaginable (I was working in the castle, which is literally just across the road!), but the hotel is very nice in itself. The room I was in was small, but not in a bad way. I had space for everything I needed, the phone signal and WiFi were strong, the bed was comfortable, there were even complimentary biscuits! "fantastic and charming place! Be prepared to walk up the steps on the inside but it's very delightful once you're in. The bed is super comfy and the shower was brilliant and the view is amazing. East walk to the station, ferry port, and coastal walk. Lots of interesting books to read. If you make sure the windows are totally shut the road noise will be less noticeable. Delightful spot and felt very historical with real pride of ownership. Thank you, Jason and Howard!! "

"Charming B & B. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked to order. On street parking could be hit and miss depending on when you returned to the B & B. However, once it got past 5pm, there were plenty of spaces available. Would definitely recommend this property."

"Though the steps to the entrance are steep, the property is charming and the hosts were helpful and lovely.The breakfast was excellent. Easy access to town. Directions from the host were helpful, but also well sign-posted and close-by. Local produce in the town was stunning."

"Delightful stay here. Friendly owners. A few minutes walk to the Conwy Castle and some good pubs and restaurants. Steep slope to rear parking lot, watch your low bumper on exiting."

"Location was great right on prom. On street parking available and even in peak season you could find spaces"

"Nice and close for shopping, beach and pubs. Macerator toilet activates 2-3 times during the night. Annoying! Can be a bit noisy with night time revellers. Only had board, didn't sample breakfast. Plenty of food choices within short walking distance. Overall I would recommend and I would stay there again. "

"What a wonderful location for the local area. Clean and spacious bungalow for my husband and I plus two black labradors. Lovely base to return to after a day out exploring. Great communication from Jackie too ( thank you ) "

Cheap and cheerful!

"I will start by saying it isn't perfect. The hotel is somewhat dated and could do with a makeover. Thats about as far as i can criticise and yet its not a big deal for me. The hotel is located just off of Llandudno's front so its a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and comfortable enough for me at least. Didn't experience any issues with noise. The buffet breakfast was very nice too with a decent selection of food and drink, all included in the stay. The price for all that was very good, allowing me to enjoy a last minute weekend break without breaking the bank. Like I said, not perfect but very good all the same! :)"

"Good location. Excellent friendly staff. Car parking ok but narrow access to it. The one in the High Street was easy access, but tendency for it to be blocked by service vans. Would, without hesitation recommend The Castle Hotel Conwy."
