"Amazing views of Mount Taranaki from the hot tub room. Heated towel racks. Impeccably clean. Would’ve loved to stay here more nights. Great stay after driving through from the Forgotten World Highway. If you are sensitive to noise, it is on a main road but that didn’t bother us at all."

"Area is busy during the day but quiet at night. Property is modern and well maintained, units are spacious and clean. There's a large supermarket right across the street as is a fuel station. Lady at reception was very friendly and informative."

"The hand basin is in a ridiculous position which contributes to slops on the floor as it is hard to get at. We felt that although the cabin was adequate it was overpriced. An awning over the deck could help with the relentless sun."

"The Mill House is such a wonderful place to stay - so clean, so welcoming, and every little detail has been thought about to make you comfortable and at home… a Nespresso coffee machine, deep bath with candles provided, fluffy robes, fresh flowers in every room, helpful basics in the fridge. "We came up with a large group of friends for a ski weekend. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to ski, but we had so much fun doing other things around Raetihi - the dinosaur house, carrot adventure park and the tip shop were some of our favourite things to do. "Old time charm with modern convenience. The property is fantastic with beautiful gardens. Service oriented owner . One of a kind if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle but still be close to grocery stores etc. The cottage even has a hot tub. Had breakfast on the sunny front porch. Wish we could have stayed longer."
