Location
In an enchanted place, where nature is expressed in all its splendor and the sea, with its sunrises and its sunsets, marks the time, Casa Panarea offers hospitality and comfort for unique holidays of relaxation.
Located along the south-eastern coast of Sicily, in the southernmost part of Marina di Modica beach, 'Punta Regilione', Casa Panarea is embraced by the Mediterranean, from which it is only 20 meters away; a privileged position from which it is possible to experience the sea 24 hours a day, perceiving its changes, sounds, colors and marvelous perfumes. The clear waters and the lush backdrops are ideal for relaxing swimming and diving. The opposite beach of sand mixed with low and flat rocks, with ravines and inlets, allows excursions and pleasant walks to discover the coast that stretches east towards Pozzallo (passing through Maganuco); to the west towards Sampieri, passing along the fine sandy beach that characterizes the lido of Marina di Modica, from which Casa Panarea is only 300 meters away. Along this beach you reach the center of the seaside village where there are bars, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, Church, cinema, auditorium and bike path that connects Marina di Modica to Sampieri.

The iblea coast
The Ionian coast is dotted with many small and precious pearls, each of which is unique for its landscape and beauty; in fact, beyond Marina di Modica we find in the West: Sampieri, location that with its 'Stabilimento Bruciato', the Fornace Penna, has become the identifying symbol of the TV series Montalbano. Continuing we reach Cava d'Aliga, Donnalucata, Marina di Ragusa, Kamarina, with its archaeological park and an important museum, Punta Secca with the house of Montalbano, Punta Braccetto and Scoglitti.
To the east of Marina di Modica we find Pozzallo, from which you can quickly reach Malta for day trips, and the beach of Santa Maria del Focallo.
Ibleo hinterland
Since the Mediterranean is a short step from the Mediterranean to the hinterland, it would be a shame not to seize the opportunity to discover places full of charm and culture that have made the Hyblaean land one of the pride of the UNESCO. We remember in particular
Modica, the capital of the county that was made great by its Counts: 'A split pomegranate', with its baroque, its alleys and its churches, on which stand out the Cathedral of San Giorgio and the Chiesa Madre di San Pietro , has become a destination for historical and food and wine itineraries. In this regard we remember the Modican chocolate, to be tasted natural or with its various aromatizations, 'i' mpanatigghi 'the fava beans,' u cosacavaddu '(the famous Caciocavallo ragusano DOP), in addition to the preparations of the typical cuisine that sink their roots in the peasant culture.
Other sites of particular historical and cultural interest are: the Cava d 'Ispica necropolis and the baroque cities of Ragusa Ibla and Scicli.
Equally important and evocative are the destinations outside the province: the baroque of Noto, the oasis of Vendicari, Portopalo, Marzamemi and Siracusa. All easily accessible for a trip out of town.
