Historic midtown cottage

Welcome to the Cottage at Dexter! Nestled in the heart of midtown Mobile, this charming little house is the perfect getaway for up to four guests. Many original elements remain in this 118 year old gem and it was lovingly renovated in 2018. It is centrally located just minutes away from dozens of fantastic restaurants and downtown Mobile.

We have two bedrooms with a queen bed in each that will comfortably sleep up to four guests! The master has an attached bathroom with a second bathroom located at the end of the central hall.

There is a spacious dining area with a table and seating for six. The dining room also houses our record player and collection! We love putting on a different record each night as we sit down for a meal and we hope you will too!

Just beyond the dining room there is a cozy sitting room with a couch and chairs. This is the perfect space to curl up for a movie or chat at the end of the day. The television is equipped with a Roku on guest mode. Guest mode allows you to log in to your own streaming services and will log you out at the end of your stay.

The kitchen has a full fridge/freezer combo as well as a Ninja blender, drip coffee pot, Keurig, oven, stove and dishes for your convenience.

The front porch boasts a sweet sitting area with a swing and chairs to fulfill all your southern porch swinging dreams. We also have a table and chairs located in the spacious back yard for coffee or drinks in the warm breeze of south Alabama.
