Not because it is a modern, fully updated and a pristine property, but because it afforded everything we needed, we felt comfortable and were able to settle in nicely for 7 nights. "We have never been to Fairhope before. We came to visit some friends and it is the cutest, most charming town I have ever seen. This little cottage is super close to everything and tucked away with a beauitful setting. The cottage is very clean and cozy. Though keep in mind, it is a little cottage behind the owners home, which didnt bother us one bit. The only reason I mention it is because I was very worried about distrubing the owner, coming and going late at night. The owner is very friendly...

"This is a beautiful, quiet property that is right on the waterfront so sunsets are beautiful. The pelicans that sit on posts out in the water add to the charm of the house. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there are plenty of towels and blankets. The beds are comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend to friends. "

"The house was very nice. Quiet area but in the heart of the city so everything was close by. The only thing that needs attention is the walk in shower in the bedroom. We could not use it as the door does not stay shut. And we chose this house because of the walk in shower as we had a handicapped individual with us, so this was a letdown. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. "

"My girlfriend and I loved the property. It was perfect for the two of us. Very quite, great location for what we wanted to do on vacation. Less than an hour to Dauphin Island and other beaches. 5 minute drive to local dining and culture area. Owner was very accommodating. My girlfriend left her favorite pillow and the owner mailed it back to her. We loved it! We will definitely be staying here again."
