"This was a very relaxing home for visiting family to stay. Location is close to everything you might need on a visit. Betty is a very experienced host who is communicative and quick to respond. Check in/out was easy. So nice to have a local place to stay instead of commuting back and forth from out of town. "

"All the hotels were booked AND overpriced in Columbia for Homecoming…. So we ventured out to this super cute VRBO 25 miles north out in the country!! Very clean and super spacious for a one bedroom!! Could have easily fit 2 more people on the couches !! Homemade muffins and fresh eggs waiting for us !!! Definitely be back !!"

"We were very happy with our stay at your charming home while visiting friends in Macon on our way to Louisiana. It was very comfortable and suited our needs very well. Our stay was brief, however during our 10-day trip, your beds were the most comfortable, and the sheets more luxurious than either of the 2 of the major "H" brand hotels we stayed at. Thank you! "

"Hot tub was only 84 degrees so that was frustrating and a bummer I feel the pics on this listing were a tad deceiving. House much older decor etc in person that what pics led me to think. Wish it had told us sharp turn off of road to property. Everyone passed it the first time. Also Apple Maps take you across the street! "

"My cousins and I stayed at this property for a family reunion in Macon. We were all super impressed with the house!! The beds are all queen beds and super comfortable. "My friend and I spent 1 nite in this lovely caretakers cottage in Fayette Mo. We were in town for a meeting and the location was very conveinent. The next morning we took a stroll to a local coffee shop and admired all the wonderful, historic homes. The king sized bed was comfy and plenty of clean, fresh towels. I prepared a nice charcuterie upon our arrival and the kitchen did not disappoint. Full sized, new refrigerator was great! Off street parking was a bonus. Excellent communication...
