Kenneth was an excellent host! The tent was extremely clean with an excellent bathroom, but do not expect wifi connection...the perfect place to unplug!
Everything from the drive in to the tent to the wonderful host is absolutely amazing! This was the perfect place to unwind and see how beautiful Utah really is. Our 3 year old loved seeing the bunnies and feeding the chipmunks that are all around! Best adventure glancing experience ever!
Great stay, Kenneth was great at replying quickly with any questions and gave excellent directions on how to get there. Beautiful, quiet place if you want to get away and enjoy nature. There is another tent nearby, but it's far enough away for each tent to have enough privacy. Kenneth also supplies firewood for a fire and has all the extra things you may need (we borrowed plates, cutlery, salt and pepper). My daughter loved climbing on the rocks and of course feeding the chipmunks. It was a fun adventure and one of the highlights of our trip and our daughter is asking when we can go back again!
This was a genuinely once in a life time experience(that we'd like to do again!). For half the cost of the commercial tents in moab you get to experience almost complete isolation anf natural beauty. The beds were clean and comfortable. The owner was a joy to talk with. Honestly, the bathroom was my favorite part 😆 the bathroom (for the 2 bed tent) is built into the rocks and is open atthe top. A midnight shower under the stars is magical.
Lots of cute lizards running around. Our son even saw a kangaroo rat by the wood pile.
Driving in is beautiful, fun, and a bit daunting. Most vehicles should be able to handle the "road" but our rental tahoe was almost too big. Tight turns and steep inclines were tricky but we laughed the whole ride.
This glamping experience is in the heart of Moab, and it truly exceeded all expectations for a romantic getaway adventure. Nestled amidst the stunning red rock landscape, this retreat offers seclusion and intimacy that's perfect for couples seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The tent itself was a luxurious haven. Spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed, the comfy bed mixed with a private intimate fire pit, truly made the experience. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the cozy bed linens to the tasteful decor that complemented the surrounding desert beauty.
What truly sets this glamping experience apart is the celestial view of Dead Horse State Park. Each evening, we were treated to a mesmerizing display of stars, and a first class ticket to view the Milky Way galaxy at night, making us feel like we were on our private celestial voyage. The epic sunrises over the red rocks were equally breathtaking, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, and leaving us in awe of the natural wonders around us.
The seclusion of this spot added to its charm. It felt like we were the only two people on Earth, allowing us to fully connect with each other and the majestic landscape. It was the perfect setting for reconnecting with nature and each other.
Come for the experience of a lifetime, you won’t be disappointed
The remoteness of Kenneth's place was a real plus in our book. The tent was immaculate the bathroom well thought out and beautiful.
We saw stars that are not visible in our hometown and spent quite a bit of time drinking in that night sight!!
We grilled our dinner (and dessert!) and wished we had booked a second night.
Don't miss this treasure of an experience!
The address provided is a cliff. There’s no residential property in this area. There is no bell to ring and no signs. This address is approximately 45 minutes from a road and phone signal. I drove to the address could not find it drove around looking. I had to drive back out 45 minutes to contact the host. Host Did not respond or reply. That was approximately six weeks ago. I still have not received a call back. Drove back in 45 minutes to look around again.. A couple people drove by. I asked them for help. This property is not at this location. I come to Moab often and I’ve never had an issue with finding a property previously.VRBO And my credit card company are working for a refund, but the host is not releasing the funds. I have never disputed a charge or had an issue. with a rental property in the past
What an incredible evening! The road out in our minivan was the only concern at all, and we made it just fine. Kenneth has created an incredible place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. He had everything I could have hoped for and more. If you are looking for a unique glamping experience in Moab, you will be very happy with this spot. Thank you for the great experience Kenneth.
We enjoyed a relaxing, comfortable 3 nights. The best sleep ever away from home. The secluded location nestled in a rock formation touches the heart. Rejuvenating. Ken, the host, is very welcoming. He takes care that everything is perfect for your stay. We were provided the makings for s'mores, a campfire near the tent., coffee, WiFi access and invaluable information about the area. The tent site is meticulously designed. Every detail thought out.
We must mention our visit with Ken's chipmunks. The opportunity to offer them snacks was fun.
One of the extra highlights was the drive on an impressive canyon road following the river. It is a peek into stunning tent location. We highly recommend this opportunity.
Our host was extraordinary. Kenneth and his mother were so open and friendly. We had a great time and loved all the animals around ❤️ especially the lovely chipmunks. Sometimes it feels you were in a Disney movie and time stopped for a while. We will be back and stay definitely longer.
We had an amazing experience! The location is very remote and secluded. Kenneth was a great host, gave us a tour of the facilities, offered us breakfast and s’mores and much more. We will definitely be stopping by again when we are in the area
“We have made the decision to write this and we are sticking to it….”
Starting with a breathtaking and adventurous drive to the site we were greeted by our congenial host, Kenneth, and his adorable mother, Lynette. We were shown our exceptional accommodations. Everything was as it should be and more - comfortable mattress, warm blankets, hot showers, a crackling fire and even the makings for s’mores. Ken shared his knowledge of the area as well as conversation and coffee in the morning. We were delighted with the uniqueness of the site, surrounded by red rock beauty, the warmth of the host, and the beauty of everything around us. 10/10 would go again!
To be honest, despite fantastic communication and direction from the host Kenneth, it almost felt like a miracle that we found the place. That said... I can't put into words how lucky I feel to have had the experience I did. This spot is a miracle. I was looking for a special place to stop and enjoy but had no idea that anything like this actually could exist. If I sound like a nut, it's because it is an unbelievable, magical place. Everything was beyond what I expected. Kenneth and "Mom" have created something that needs to be experienced to be believed. I'll be back as soon as I can, but next time I want to stay long enough to fully immerse in everything this is. Believe that. Wow.
