"I loved the location, the decor, the bed, the staff. Our bathroom had two things that were bothersome. The toilet dripped all night, and the shower head didn't hook up and had to be hand held. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The Hostel is very comfortable Nice and modern with a lovely bar on the ground floor. The only negative point is the position,up on the hill,so it's not very easy to reach if you are coming with luggages or buggies and young kids. Overall is a good price for the expensive Lyon."

"Everything about my stay was just perfection. The front staff exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived I felt like I was going to feel right at home. The location is so ideal as well and many city highlights are nearby. I would not hesitate to book with this hotel again for my next visit to Lyon. "Great location. Easy to access from the Lyon train station. Staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and quiet (but remember, rooms in Europe are smaller than hotel rooms in North America). I would definitely stay again."

"Very clean and spacious rooms with great service! Someone was always at the front desk to assist us all night. Location was great. Close to Metro but we chose to walk because of the pretty streets."

"While a little "worn around the edges", this hotel is very pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed comfort is very good. We discovered a good bistro down the road - the midi-minuit - which actually closes at 10:30 (bizarre given the name). Looked at Georges bistro but was overcrowded and too noisy. If you arrive late, parking is free in the street. "

"Hotel Charite worked well for us. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The double room was smaller than expected from the photos. Was tight for our luggage. The Bathroom lacks some features and amenities, but works fine. Location is right next to train station but you only hear trams on occasion (we stayed just Saturday night). "

"This is a very nice hotel and convenient to downtown either via the bus right in front that goes along the river or via Uber. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our biking tour in France. I definitely recommend it. They have an amazing spa there as well. "

House with a wonderful view

"The house is located on top of a hill surrounded by beautiful countryside. The owners who live next door were very kind and helpful. There are only two houses on that hill. They are totally isolated, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house is well equiped with everything you need. We spent a lovely week. Château de la Roche is worth a visit, as well as Lyon easily reachable by train from Tarare a town half an hour away from the gîte. ."
