"Excellent "

"I stayed at this hotel once last year. No problems at the desk then. This year the woman at the desk tried the whole "local police require us to photocopy the ID of all foreign guests" ruse which is not how the Minpaku and Hotel law works in Japan. I showed them the law which I have bookmarked on my phone and they relented. However, because of this embarrassing episode I will not be staying here again. The room itself was fine, but I was right next to the elevator and the walls at this hotel...

"For the price this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in at this price point. They evidently listened to some previous reviews and doubled down on cleaning and neatness. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The lobby and simple restaurant are very clean, and were decorated for the upcoming holiday. 10/10 would stay again. "

"Hotel staff is warm with good English speaking skill. Good location with convenient parking facilities. Famous shopping street and restaurants are with walking distance."

"Super friendly and helpful when checking in / out. Clean, cheerful and conveniently placed additional items by the elevators if you need them. Including breakfast was convenient, other than a couple of items don’t expect western style breakfast - as long as you’re good with that you’ll be happy 😆"

"We stayed here with our two year old and four month old. Excellent view from the ocean-facing room and very family friendly. The room was very comfortable and the restaurants in the hotel were good. There’s bike hire available for the kids and a very clean indoor pool (outdoor pool closed when we visited as it was winter)"
