"Loved our stay! It was super clean with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. It had AMAZING shampoo, body wash and hand soap! Nespresso pods in the room was a nice touch. Beautiful view of the sea. VERY limited TV. One of the nicest breakfasts we have ever had, with lots of international and Faroese options. Nice walk downhill into town which helped to find nice places to eat and then you burn it all off walking back up. The views alone are worth it."

"Overall, this is a nice hotel. The front desk staff are really personable and helpful. Our room was fairly small (as expected for a European hotel room) but it was clean and the beds were comfy. The sink/mirror is in the room and there are separate stalls each for the toilet and the shower. There is a fridge and an electric tea kettle in the room. The location is a bit odd… the only entrance/lobby is down a driveway from the road to the back of the building. It is in a more industrial area, but...

"I stayed here for almost a week, and the location is a great base for everything I wanted to do in the Faroe Islands. Close to the bus station, ferry terminal, and town center with shopping and restaurants. The hotel is clean and breakfast is great! I also loved having coffee or tea available all day. Staff members are lovely and helpful. The downsides for me were the terrible pillow and tiny shower, and staying on the second floor with loud people above me (not the hotel’s fault they stomped on...

I took this photo at Sørvágsvatn in the Faroe Islands! This isn't a view of the lake itself or the iconic cliffs. But a view of lesser known cliffs right by the lake itself. And the body of water you see is the deep sea :). And the lake was to the right of me. To see both at the same time is a very cool sight, as well. But I like this close-up view the best. Can really get a feel of how otherworldly it is! As the classic views of the lake. I hiked about 4 KM to get to Sørvágsvatn and it was definitely worth it! Some other tourists as well, but not nearly as many as the peak of summer. I'm glad I went on that late August day! One of my favorite memories of 2018.
