"What a find - a hotel in a working convent that used to be a palace! Breakfast nice, dinner excellent. Good choice of wines and beer. Room spotlessly clean, nice size. Grounds beautifully kept. Lovely long walking trails in the woods behind the convent. Plenty of safe parking. Very tranquil, absolutely top class, and at a very fair price. This is the second time I have stayed there, and will do so again. "

"The carpet leading to our room smelt of dogs, our room smelt of cigarette smoke. Breakfast time was chaotic, the staff were not in control. We needed to wait for food, crockery and utensils. We later found out they were trying to cater for a coach full of people, who were also taking lots of food for their journey. Terrible, disgusting very unpleasant. We have stayed at your hotels before with no problems. "

"Exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful Martin at Reception with Check in, Room allocation and Parking assistance for our campervan and talking to the chef to enable me to have something to eat after overhearing me trying to explain to the waiters my allergies. "This is a cozy little cottage, attached to a larger property, on the outskirts of town, but overlooking green countryside. Recently renovated to a high standard, the bedroom and bathroom are spacious. A spiral staircase may not suit the infirm or very old. Downstairs is ooen plan, with a good-sized kitchen and snug seating area.
