"I can’t recommend Rhino Coast Guest House highly enough. On arrival we were very warmly met by the owner Don who was incredibly informative, helpful and enjoyable to talk with. "We had an okay 5 night stay. The owner upgraded us to a 2 bedroom cottage that is a bit down at the heels. This was however great of her because the unit I had rented on hotels.com would not have been acceptable. Clearly some attention is needed to linens etc. There are barking dogs on a regular basis and signs of their presence around the property. There were no chairs around the pool.The owner was very gracious and acted promptly on a request for a working hairdryer ,kettle and decent coffee...

"It started fine but on the third night as we were putting our kids to bed we found some sort of rodent droppings all over the kids beds and pillows. It must have all fallen from the overhead vents. We immediately packed and left. It ruined our trip to St Lucia. "

"Unfortunately the shower dripped all night ad the cold taps were broken. The TV didn't work and the towels were stained. Reception closes at 5pm so picked up my key from security who was asleep at 4:30am when I left the next morning. Maybe you get what you pay for but I won't be returning here."

Fantastic guest house in St Lucia, a must-stay

"Bhangazi Lodge is a lovely guest house in central St. Lucia. My room was large and clean with its own bathroom, a slider to the pool, TV, and a refrigerator. AC was excellent and they had power available even when the town power was out. Kettle in the room as well. They served a hot cooked-to-order breakfast which was included and delicious. Also coffee, tea and bottled water were always available. Walkable to the town and the beach, but at night you have to drive due to the hippos wandering the streets. There are a lot of restaurants very close. There is parking at the building behind a gate. Very secure. The host Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and what to see and do. I highly recommend staying here."
