"From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....

"Le Pigeonnier was perfect for our purpose: relaxation in a beautiful rural setting. Surrounded by vineyards and a floral garden, the pool is a highlight. This property is clean and well maintained. "La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...

"Aline was incredibly accommodating and a great communicator (French or Spanish). The lodging is definitely rustic but had all the amenities needed. Our kids loved playing on the grass, in the pool, and around the property. Great rural location fi that's what you're looking for. Wifi not strong enough to do work from home."
