We had a great time and enjoyed Traci and John so much. They have thought of whatever you might need and provide a great breakfast and other amenities. The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. Loved it!
We stayed four nights, as the location was close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. The hosts were so hospitable and the cottage was super cute and comfortable.
Excellent hosts, spacious adorable space, a little far from amenities but the hosts provide food and drink for very nominal prices.
Hosts were a wealth of information!
An awesome home base for my exploration of Sequoia and Kings Canyon!
The whole cottage was comfortable and cozy, and that bathtub after a long day of hiking was amazing. The hosts made sure I had a hot breakfast every morning, and I was visited by wild turkeys and a friendly rooster. I would absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay at the cozy cottage. Traci and John are very kind hosts and made sure everything was alright for us. They even prepared a delicious breakfast in the morning. The cottage was beautifully decorated and clean. A highlight were the wild turkeys that greeted us upon arrival outside in the frontyard. Thank you for having us, John and Traci.
My husband and I loved our stay. The cottage was perfectly described. The owners were fantastic. The breakfast that was delivered to us in the morning was a special treat. We would definitely stay again. Location was close to Kings Canyon. Sequoia was closed due to road damage. Great location.
If you're wondering if the reviews are accurate about this place...they are!! The experience that the hosts give you begin when you arrive! So welcoming & inviting. My boyfriend and I felt like it was "our place." Love that they make us breakfast in the morning. Very lovely here and would come again!
My friend and I stayed here all the way from the east coast. John and Tracy love hosting. The space they created is very private and we enjoyed the stories they shared, they had a fridge filled with groceries, brought us breakfast every morning, and gave us umbrellas when it was raining. The space was so clean and cozy. Loved the experience!
Like a hidden gym this cottage is a great stay for visiting King Canyon or Sequoia or just enjoying the calm nature in the mountains. John is a great breakfest cook and we loved the talks and hints Traci and John provided to us for our daytrips to the National Parks.
The big tube is a great plus for relaxing at evenings and the cottage is just perfect for two and really clean and in perfect shape. Also if you missed the grocery they will take care of you with a packed fridge ;-).
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. From the minuted we checked in the hosts were amazing. Not only were they super accommodating but nice and funny.
They really go above and beyond to make your stay very comfortable and special. Around the area there isn't much since the location its close to the parks. They have plenty of food (hot &cold) you can purchase from them at a very low cost. This was super convenient and we really took advantage of this perk.
With your stay breakfast its provided which consisted of scramble eggs and waffles. Breakfast was delicious and perfect to start the day.
highly recommended if you are visiting the area.
From the moment we came on the property to the time we left, our hosts were so responsive and friendly. John made homemade waffles and scrambled eggs for breakfast and even had them made in advance since we were leaving so early hour last night. There was meals, snacks, and beverages for sale in our unit. If you are going to Sequoia or Kings Canyon and want to stay outside the parks, this is a perfect place. It takes about 25 minutes from the park entrance at Kings Canyon. It is a very quiet area in the country. Every detail from the towels to, the snacks and more were absolutely perfect. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you for the wonderful stay while touring the National Parks!
We had a great time staying at John and Tracy’s! The place was perfect and exactly as described. Very clean with extra bedding and towels. John and Tracy were super sweet and brought us eggs and pancakes in the morning which was a great treat for us. They also let us know it was ok to walk around their property and do some exploring. The surrounding area is super beautiful and peaceful and quiet. Very cool to see wild turkeys just walking around chillen 😂. Being in such a rural area both John and Tracy made sure we were ok and knew where to go for food and which roads were the best to take. I really appreciated their care. They win 5 stars in my book and I totally recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
This was the cutest little bungalow with the nicest people! The area was a short distance from Kings Canyon visitor center. There’s not much around this stay as far as restaurants but the hosts have microwaveable meals in case your not prepared and left us homemade bread, jelly, wine etc. They were very gracious and welcoming!
