Observation Point | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

Stay in the heart of Sandestin's Baytowne Village where all the action is!  This 2br/2ba condo is located in Observation Pointe building of Baytowne Wharf!    Upon entering the condo, the kitchen is to your left and is fully stocked to cook a compete meal for nights when you want to stay in.    The kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for 3.    With the open floor plan, you will find the living area beyond the breakfast bar.    The spacious living room has a sleeper sofa and flat screen tv.    Next to the living space is the dining area which has seating for 4.     The condo has a huge balcony with a foosball table and seating for morning coffee.

This unt is very kid friendly and we provide each guest with access to board games, a foosball table, and an vintage Atari video game console.

You will enter the master bedroom just beyond the dining table and it has a king bed and flat screen TV.     The en suite bathroom has a shower/tub combo.   The second bedroom has a twin bed with twin trundle and flat screen TV.     The second bathroom is located to the right as you enter the condo and has a walk in shower.

Our condo is not far from the  glistening pool and hot tub and the heading the other direction will lead you to the action of The Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Shuttle passes are available for guest use! Please present them to the Sandollar Transportation Shuttle out front of the building. The shuttle will be available to take guests to the beach

Here you will be in the heart of casual and fine dining, exciting nightlife, great shopping, and for the kids there are rides, arcades, ropes and adventure courses. Finish your night with one of the many planned events…firework displays, outdoor concerts, or a movie on the lawn. Only 4 of the 6 wristbands were there when we arrived. Tram passes weren’t all for our room. Paint chips in the wall in guest bedroom. The foosball table was not operable and the boards for the cornhole game were not there so neither game could be played. The security latch for the door was missing and the lock tab on the main bedroom door was missing. Overall not what I expected for what I paid.

It could’ve been better.
Communication was not very clear on a lot of things. Most important things were the following: where the pool was located. It is not in the building. You have to go to Observation North, enter in a code (that was not provided), then to the third floor, and walk around until you find it. It’s a hike with two kids and all the things. Also, you have to have wristbands and tram passes, neither of which were provided. I had to call and email for them. The cleaning crew did not leave any travel size shampoo or conditioner. There was zero hand soap. The garage code did not work but luckily valet did work with us and made sure we had a spot. You can hear the elevator from the master bedroom. The foosball table was warped and not in working condition.

Family Trip
Parking upon arrival was stressful, because I was given the wrong gate code. The property manager was swift about finding us the correct code. The unit was just ok. Fine for kids and a place to sleep. It has definitely been well loved. The furniture needs attention and so does the unit. The unit needed a little extra attention as far as cleaning but again the property manager was great about communication and took care of all our needs. I did love the fact it had a full kitchen. Dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge/ freezer. The deck was huge. They had a lot of board games which would be great for older children. The proximity to Baytown was amazing, just walk out the door! Overall we had a nice time.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Our condo was really nice, everyone loved the patio which was nice and big. It was very quiet even though we were right in the heart of the village, walk out the back door and boom, shopping, restaurants, etc. was right there. Our condo was on the second floor but there was an elevator. It was super clean and had everything we needed. There’s something for everyone, lots of entertainment for all ages. Our group ages was from teens to us old folks and we enjoyed every single minute. The only bad part was leaving. Thank you Vrbo, we made so many great memories with our four generations. We will definitely be going back and using Vrbo for our rentals. Zero complaints here.

Convenient & cozy condo
Our family of three found the condo itself to be rather ideal. The beds are comfortable, they provided some extra pillows, and plenty of soft linens. The kitchen had enough for us to make breakfast and a simple lunch a couple of times. Any issues we had were resolved by management in a timely fashion. It would be helpful if the kitchen was stocked with a few more supplies like a glass measuring cup, some Tupperware pieces or even same plastic wrap or foil but it’s not that big of a deal.

Great Location for Fun off the Beach
I stayed here for a spring break vacation with my wife, daughter, and daughter’s friend. The communication with the property management was good. The condo was clean as well as the common areas. The location is a lot of fun. It was nice that the girls could go out together on their own and we all felt they’d be safe in the resort. The space was definitely smaller than expected especially for the two girls sharing their small bedroom. Also there is very limited storage space for clothing in the second bedroom. The main bedroom was plenty large and had a closet. The owner could have made a note that tram passes for getting around the resort were not offered with the rental. The property management should also give better information about where and what amenities were available. It took a while to find the pool we could use. Overall, I would recommend this property.
