"This was a trip to Puerto Cayo. Puerto Cayo is a very very very sleepy little village west of Jipijapa. You have to want to go there. There has to be a reason. Otherwise, most people head to Frailes or up to Manta. If you want quiet and no people -- not cars in the streets or motorcycles making noise, then Puerto Cayo is for you. "El hotel es muy bonito, cómodo con buenas instalaciones lástima que el servicio deja mucho que desear éramos los únicos huéspedes del hotel todo el fin de semana y fuimos bastante ignorados por el personal, la comida es muy normal y costosa al igual que los tragos. Recomendaría este hotel siempre y cuando hagan ajustes en el servicio que brindan a los huéspedes de lo contrario no es un lugar al que volvería. "Hotel staff claimed they did not have our booking or payment (of course the booking was fully paid). After few minutes they found it and said that they did not recieved any notification and they are fully booked on that day. It was late at night, we had to find another hotel in the area ourselves. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did not help us with anything. All they said was they were sorry. We are very disappointed."
