"Very clean with great communication from owner! I loved signing the journal and reading past entries. My only recommendation would be to let people know the dining availability in the area… late night delivery was out of the question unfortunately but The cafe downstairs was amazing.. we could even smell the fresh coffee coming from downstairs as we are early risers. Highly Recommend the breakfast banana split and the siracha sandwich!! I DO intend on booking another stay soon… maybe mom and daughter overnight quality time."

"We were in Illinois for a wedding. Very beautiful and cozy house. Very family/kid friendly. We did not have children with us but very impressive how much they thought of children when furnishing this home. They have a child's picnic table on the porch a cabinet dedicated to children's dishes. A cupboard under the stairs full of toys. Books board games. Large yard for the kids to play in. "

"I brought my son's new blended family together and we are so happy we found this place. We asked the kids to leave their phones turned off until bed and they did it. And they had fun. There was so much to do in the game room, we wish we could have stayed longer. The hot tub was terrific! I would just say that for me it was hard to get up and down the stairs to the hot tub. I'm 61,short with bad knee. There is a lot of steps but I made it through and everybody loved it"

"Nice people. Property a bit run down, chair in room missing a leg, lamp had a shade flopping. 3 night stay, service every day, clean towels, coffee replenished, etc. "

"This Property had bed bugs. When I went to the front desk they were not surprised and told me to leave. They said they would give me a refund but I booked through Expedia so we will see what happens now. "
