Lakeside living at one of our Flagship Rentals properties, a spacious 4,700, 5-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home along the picturesque shores of Lake Phalen. Lake Phalen Regional Park features a sandy beach area offering canoeing, sailboat rentals, and a paved bike/walk path. Enjoy golf at the Phalen Park Golf Course. Located just 10-15 minutes from the Mall of America, MSP Airport, and Downtown Minneapolis, and a quick drive to Downtown St. Paul, Xcel Energy Center, Ordway theaters, and Children's museums nearby.

Our home is ideal for short stays or month-long stays. Take advantage of our off-season discounted daily rate or monthly rates.

We offer a rate based on four guests, with an additional fee per person for any extra guests. This unique approach allows us to ensure that our guests are only charged for the actual number of people staying, making it an excellent value for both smaller and larger groups. At our property, we prioritize flexibility and convenience, which is why we are happy to accommodate changes in the number of guests after reservation.

*Guest Private Use and Access: Guests have exclusive private use of the 1st and 2nd floors of this 3-story home (the total guest space is 4,700 sq ft, five bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and the front yard and stone patio overlooking Lake Phalen). There is separate private access via the three-season porch. A shared driveway can accommodate two cars, and additional street parking is available. Our focus is your privacy while renting Lake Phalen Place.

*Separate Owner's Suite: The home's lower level (basement) includes a separate private owner's suite and attached garage. There is no cross-traffic or shared living spaces; it's a separate entry. Guests cannot access or use the lower-level Owner's Suite, backyard patio, or attached garage. The owner reserves the right to access and use the separate private owner's suite at any time. We prioritize our Guests' privacy.

*We require a $250 preauthorization on your credit card, which will be released 7 days after checkout, unless there are damages or extra charges. Thank you for considering our home; we look forward to hosting you!

We knew that this extremely clean home would be amazing, as we have rented it before - a dream kitchen, lots of comfortable seating for a big group, spacious bedrooms, wonderful beds, great bathrooms, super location (love walking around the lake), and most of all, an excellent host. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We shall return!

Great for our family
This was a great property. I disagreed with a previous reviewer who said this was not good for small children. We had a two year old in a five-year-old and this was perfect for all of our family. Everything was available to us inside the house they had a well-stocked kitchen. Check in process was great. We had one little issue and it was taken care of immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Get Together
We had enough room for our entire family, and it was GREAT! We have a son, here with us in the Rochester area who brought his wife and 2 children out, a son in Apple Valley who has 2 children and our daughter who also lives in the Minneapolis area. I also have a sister in the area who was able to come out and join us for dinner one evening. There was plenty to do around the area which kept us all busy. And the big TV screen was GREAT to catch up on the Olympics in the evenings. THANKS for letting us borrow your beautiful house!!

Reunion Escape
The accommodations of this home were perfect for our reunion group of longtime friends from all over the country. Spacious rooms made everyone comfortable. Walking around the lake and spending time on the patio were most enjoyable. Grocery and convenience stores were nearby, and the driving time to the many sights, museums and restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul were good. A day spent in Stillwater, MN was delightful This particular location is easily accessible from the airport.

Great property in a great location
This was a great location for us to hold a week-long family reunion. Its proximity to the lake was wonderful, as it allowed the older members to sit outside and watch the sunrise and allowed the younger members to go swimming at least every day. It was also easily drivable to lots of restaurants and attractions in the area. The bedrooms were great and there were plenty of bathrooms for the entire crew. The ground floor master was perfect for the mobility-challenged guests. The only snag was that the air conditioner did not work for the first twelve hours when we arrived during a record heat wave, which made for an unpleasant night, but the management was easy to deal with and the problem was resolved by morning. Overall, we loved our stay and definitely recommend this property!

Long Weekend
Registration was simple. Only surprise was we found out owners are living in the lower level of house, but that ultimately didn’t matter because their presence was transparent throughout the stay. The nicest part was the separate walking and biking trail around the lake and the very nice Lake Phalen public golf course on the west side of the lake. It and the adjacent park and swimming beach are very well manicured, policed, and life guarded. We felt safe and comfortable every day.

Lovely home for small family or friends gathering
The home was very nice, with clean, specious bedrooms and bathrooms. We were grateful for the shade tree in the front which allowed us to be outside and have views of the lake. The house sleeps a maximum of 12 and we found a nearby short term rental for the remainder of the family (5 more). We were disappointed about our inability to gather as a full family for meals at this house due to their occupancy limit of 12 including any day guests. (Except for one night when we were given permission to exceed 12).

Great family friendly stay
Stayed with a group of 8 adults and 3 kids aged 6 and under. House was spacious and gave us plenty of space for together time or retreating to a different area for some space. Two large tables for eating and playing games. View of the lake was a nice bonus and we enjoyed the easy access to the walking trail as well. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed. Only issue was the AC didn't seem able to keep up, temp was 77-78 degrees in the evenings after running AC all day but cooler in other areas of the house (so not working consistently throughout the house). Otherwise all was great and thankfully we had some cooler days and evenings to keep the house temp down.
