"A beautiful property in the middle of nowhere! It was so relaxing and quiet and having the pool was great! The restaurant wasn't open but they made us a 3 course meal on our 1st night as well as hiving us some recommendations for local restaurants. The staff are there/around but not in your face and the breakfast was lovely - a croissant, fruit, juice and your choice of a breakfast sandwich! Just enough. "

"We have just stayed in 10 premium hotels in every major city in southern Spain. The hospitality and service level at Hierba Luisa was by far the best we have experienced. The hotel was small but well-equipped and the best thing was how quiet the place was. We slept very well."

"Stopped for one night while driving across Spain. On a small side street off main road through town. A surprising gem ,clean modern hotel, good value, an excellent selection of gourmet tapas in restaurant. Dont be put off by location. Room small for couple but fine for single traveller. "

"Con ma comodidad de estar como en casa. Tiene de todo. La bañera hidromasaje en la habitación es una pasada y las vistas inmejorables! Se ve todo Alcalá del Júcar con el rio a su alrededor, y está solo a unos 9 minutos de allí. Sitio muy tranquilo. Lo recomiendo!"

"We searched for hotels in Valencia; this came up as one of the options. It is an hour's drive from Valencia!! Please do not be misled- this is a little town called Casa Ibanez. Other than the location, we had no complaints. The staff were most accomodating, and the town had a quaint feel to it. Nice folks. But tooooo far away from Valencia to be considered as accomodation if you are planning to visit. Thankfully,we drove, so all was not lost."

"Unique cabins and rooms on the grounds of a working winery was special. There are several idyllic areas set up to enjoy wine or coffee on the grounds. Quiet and secure. We drove 3 minutes into town for a very authentic supper experience. We recommend it as a very unique stay"

We also happened to be in town for a local religious festival/ceremony, so very pleased about that. "These apartments are located in a very small agricultural town so not loads of shopping. There are several small restaurants within walking distance of the apartments. We also happened to be in town for a local religious festival/ceremony, so very pleased about that. The negative is that we had no Wi-Fi in the room (we checked several other units and none of them had Wi-Fi either). Also, no coffee maker in the apartment. The breakfast was very good and the hotel employees (in fact, everyone in town) were very friendly, even though I am not a Spanish speaker and almost no one spoke English. I would rate this stay a very good."
