"My family needed a quick uncomplicated getaway to just chill and spend time together. We are from MD so it was a short drive for all of us. Our group was grandparents, adults and one 2.5yo. This property accommodated everyone. Even my dad who can’t walk long distances was comfortably able to stay in one of the basement level bedrooms which didn’t even feel like a basement since it is walkout level with so much amazing light and a lake view. the kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook every night. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and wood was provided. We utilized the paddle boat, SUP, canoe and kayaks with ease. The air hockey and foosball tables were an added bonus! The laundry was more than adequate. Parking was easy. The nearby playground was a quick walk and helped tire out our toddler daily! We took a 1 hr day trip to Richmond and another day trip to Charlottesville Both were easy to navigate and a fun excursion. Our host Nick was very communicative, gave great regional info and answered questions super fast. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel was a little outdated in decor however it was clean comfortable and lots of towels. Can you ask for more! Staff were friendly. We ate some of the best food nearby at a Cajun southern restaurant "

"This was the second time my husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at this lovely spot. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we came back. The renovations are wonderful! We loved just sitting on the spacious deck with our coffee and watching the boats go by on the lake. Our pups loved the walk down to the water. After cooking our favorite meals in the new kitchen, the hot tub was a nice treat. Thank you so much for another beautiful anniversary we. "

"Had a long weekend getaway with a group of girlfriends from across the country after we all attended a conference in DC. It was easy to get to, plenty of room inside as well as outside. The hot tub was quite nice and we all enjoyed a few hours paddling in the kayaks around the lake. Definitely would go back!"

"We (myself and 9 buddies) had an excellent stay at Libby's Landing. The house was great - plenty of room to spread out and 10 beds so everyone got their own space to sleep. The main indoor draw of the house is an awesome great room where we spent most of our time when not outside. It was huge and even with 10 guys, there was more than enough room. The kitchen also had everything you'd need to prepare big meals. The outside was great too. We spent a lot of time at the firepit since we were there mid-October, but the deck/dock/yard were all very inviting and just tons of space. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a low stress place to stay with an excellent property manager that communicated well and was accurate in the description of their propety."

"I am truly thankful and grateful to Kiran, the host. She was very communicative and very supportive to meet our kind requests. She was so helpful, so kind. Our relative lost her ear-ring after we checked out and she let us entered to the house to check and we found it. She was so generous to let us check out later because we were not very lucky with the weather in the beginning of our stay. I sending her a lot of thanks. I would choose her house and this host again. I am also so thankful for early check in. All our relatives felt like at home. We found two coffee machines - which is a big deal for large families. "

"12 Family members got together for a week at the lake and had a great time. This house is perfect for a large group, plenty of places to gather and also plenty of places to get away and be alone for a while."

"This property was perfect for our growing family of 21. There was plenty of room with 3 living areas in which to spread out. The yard was great for outdoor games and the children enjoyed the tire swing and especially had fun with the multiple kayaks. The fire pit was a hit on the cool nights and the kids enjoyed s'mores roasted over the fire. My husband and grandchildren caught many fish which some of us enjoyed eating. If there was a negative point, it would be that the water was low and a bit murky in September but the younger children still enjoyed swimming and playing on the sandy beach. I would definitely stay again."
