Cozy Winter Weekend
We booked this property because it seemed secluded and had a fireplace. My husband and I were hoping to unplug and enjoy a quiet weekend and that's exactly what we got. We didn't leave the cabin the whole time and enjoyed movies and reading by the fire for 2 days. The temps didn't get above 15 degrees the whole weekend and we stayed warm, the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We hope to stay again soon! Note: we drive a Ford f-150 and had to use 4x4 mode to get up the half mile of the hill, with some determination a sedan could make it but we were very happy we chose to bring the truck.

MUST have 4WD and be willing to deal with an unresponsive property manager; looked pretty though
This is just a PSA to say you absolutely need 4WD to access the property. The one image of the driveway does not show just how steep and long it really is in person. Deep in the text of the listing it says you may need 4WD, but that is not quite right. It is an absolute necessity for this property. If you do not have a car with 4WD, do not book! We were unable to stay here since we couldn't access it without 4WD, but we did trek up to the cabin to make sure it was in fact the right place and from the very brief peek inside, it looked nice and like the interior pictures from the listing. It's not too far from Blue Ridge, so that's good. I called the property management company several times, since that was the help number provided, and they really couldn't help us at all. Each time they told us the local property manager would get in contact with us soon. The local property manager never did, which was disappointing and frustrating. I'm giving this 2 stars because I feel the listing is misleading, perhaps unintentionally, and the property management was unresponsive. But it looked pretty and I bet we would have had a nice honeymoon here, as was planned, had we been able to access the property.
