Location ideal but property below standard expected
Location, amenities, layout as described. Property was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Cobwebs with dead flies in kitchen. Dirty, greasy oven trays. Toilet not cleaned - still had faeces on bowl. It seems that some change occurred between booking and the holiday with the ownership. We were not informed of this. My account with Owners Direct still shows payments pending even though deposit and balance were paid in good time. Leaflet explaining arrival procedure was inaccurate. No slip for car parking was available as stated. Phone call connected to a lady who I assume was the previous owner - she knew nothing about my booking but was able to tell me about the parking. We would not recommend this property which seems to have disappeared from Owners Direct lists.
