"Nice colonial era house that has been converted to a B&B. Rooms are all on inner courtyard with a pool. Hotel is in a good location. Very convenient to all attractions. Rooms don't have air conditioning, only fans. Had to pay in cash when checking out."

Their resident taxi driver was on hand for transport. It's a simple guest house with few luxury facilities, but the rooms are spacious and clean, showers and wi-fi work well, breakfast is basic but fresh. "

"Residencial Maravilha is a lovely little hotel in the heart of Mindelo, just a few minutes walk from the town center and the ferry dock. The rooms are big and clean. They may look a bit old school but furniture is good quality. My room had a great sea view. No shower gel/soap was provided which isn't a issue, juts to be prepared as one is so used to that these days. Staff is really friendly. The breakfast is also nice. Just make sure you tell the arrival time beforehand as the reception isn't...
